Lavender Illusion

Hello, dear peeps!

What happened to July?  I cannot believe how quickly it passed.  It's my turn today to inspire you with my DT project which I created for Ching-Chou Kuik's Monthy Facebook Challenge which starts today https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1788141307888835&type=3
The theme this month is "Recycle".  How cool is that?  Winners of the challenge can win some gorgeous images by Ching-Chou Kuik.

I took a sheet of 1/4 inch thick foam board which I had lying around and decided to make a wall hanging.  I made my own heart template. As you can see from the name of my blog, I just adore kitties and fairies so what better way to showcase that than by using the gorgeous "Lavender Illusion" image by Ching-Chou Kuik.  You can find it here:

I embellished it by using lace around the perimeter of the heart shape, followed by a sting of pearls.
I nearly always make my own flowers but this time I used silk flowers.  I did make the tiny roses. The weather here has been dreadful; so I was unable to get a good photo.  The pearl flourish, feather and Swarovski crystals are from my stash.  I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour that stunning image.

I wish you a lovely day.  Lori P xx
