Flapper Twirl by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  A new challenge started yesterday on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.
For my DT inspirational card, I chose the gorgeous "Flapper Twirl" image, found here:

As we all know, flappers emerged in the U.S. in the 1920's.  They were known for their unconventional behaviour and style, and were a sign of changing times.  These ladies sure had a lot of style!

This beautiful image was coloured with Copics and Polychromos.  I made the frame with a free clip art image from the Internet and added pieces of the "Oriental Frame and Motifs" dies at the top.  The gray flower is handmade, as is the hat pin.

I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Hello, dear friends!  There's a new challenge starting today on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.
The theme is "Anything Goes".  Here is my DT inspiration:

Isn't she lovely?  The image is "Butterfly Fairy Curtsy", found in Vera's esty shop here:

This sweet fairy is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I found the free scrabble tiles on the Internet.  I printed the letters that I needed and fussy cut them.  A bit of a challenge because they are so tiny...LOL.  Then, I coloured them and raised them with 3-D foam.

Thank you for visiting.  I really appreciate it.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Foliage:      Cottage Cutz "Greenery" dies

Hi everyone!  I am showcasing my second DT card this month which I created for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge.  There's still time to join the fun but do hurry because it ends on Friday.

This month's theme is "Things With Wings".  I just love this magnificent image ("Sitting Pretty on Mushroom").  You can find it here:

I used Copic markers and Polychromos to colour this darling image.  The beautiful flowers are from I Am Roses.
The window die cut was not wide enough for the image, so I cut it in half and covered the gap at the top with flowers.  I applied clear Wink of Stella" to her wings.

Thank you for visiting.  I wish you a lovely week.  Hugs, Lori xx
