Baking Love by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Good morning/afternoon!  I get so excited when a new challenge starts on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge blog, and the new challenge starts today.

Vera has such beautiful images.  I love to colour them.  This image is coloured with Copic markers.  The candle is a free clip art image which I coloured with Copics.  I added 3-D foam under the candle for dimension and I applied glitter to the flame.

Thank you for stopping by, and hope to see you again.  Have a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Frame:    Martha Stewart "Daisy" Around-the-Page punches

Poppy Fairy by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello friends!  Welcome to my post today.  This week's themes for the Design Team members of Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge are "Shabby Chic or Distressed or Vintage".
https://www.facebook.com/groups/chingchoukuikdigitalstamps/
These themes evoke a design style that embraces a worn look.  Words like lace, floral, soft, romantic, eclectic, casual and feminine come to mind.

I coloured this lovely image with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  The poppy is handmade.  A bit of lace is peeking out of the distressed patterned paper.  I also added red lace at the top of the card.  Her wings are gently covered with clear Wink of Stella.

Thank you for visiting.  I appreciate it very much.  Have a happy week.  Hugs, Lori xx

Sakura in March by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello peeps!  Here we are with a brand new month.  That means a brand new monthly Facebook challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.
This month's theme is "Die Cuts or Punches or Both".  I chose the beautiful "Sakura in March" image, found here:
Here is my Design Team inspirational card:

Isn't she gorgeous?  I have coloured her with my usual mediums (Copics and Polychromos).  I used die cuts for the frame and the blue flower, and punches for all the handmade flowers.  It is hard to see but I applied clear Wink of Stella to her wings. The sentiment is computer generated and is raised with 3-D foam.  Lastly, I placed Swarovski crystals in the center of all the flowers.

Ching-Chou also has a challenge blog.  Check it out here:
Thank you so much for visiting.  I sincerely appreciate it.  I wish you a happy day.  Stay well and stay safe.  Hugs, Lori xx

This is my inspirational card, as a Design Team member, for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge (theme: Male/Fathers).  There is still time to enter:
This delightful image is "Snowy the Penguin-Snowy Birthday Presents", found here:
I coloured the image with Copic markers and  Polychromos pencils.  I drew the wooden floor.  The candle is a free black and white clip art image which I coloured with Copics and added 3-D foam to give it dimension.  I also added glitter to the flame.

I wish you all a lovely weekend.  Hugs, Lori xx

What an adorable and versatile image.  My card is for Conie's current Facebook Challenge. The theme this month is "Male/Fathers".  There is still time to join in the fun.
I freehanded the hills and sponged the edges.  I made the sun by using a free clipart image and raised the circle with 3-D foam.  As usual, I coloured the image with Copic markers.

That's all from me today.  I wish you a happy weekend, and a wonderful Father's Day to all the fathers out there.  Hugs, Lori xx

Painter Girl by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello, my friends!  This is my DT inspirational card for the new challenge (Theme: Anything Goes) which commences today on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog:
Come and see what the talented Design Team has created.  And, if you join in the fun, you may win some beautiful images.

This really cute image is "Painter Girl", found here:

I found the paint brushes on a free clip art site.  I fussy cut them, and coloured them and the image with Copic markers. Then, I placed 3-D foam under the paint brushes for dimension.  It's hard to see but I applied Glossy Accents to the paint on the artist palette and the paint on the brush that the girl is holding.  The paint splatters were made with a punch.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I always enjoy reading your lovely comments.  I wish you a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Border:    EK Success "Binding Edge" punch
Brushes:  Free clip art
Paint Splatters:  punch (I do not know the maker)
