Sally's Christmas Friends by Conie Fong

Hi dear friends!  I am sharing another Christmas card using the lovely Sally's Christmas Friends by Conie Fong.  I posted a card with this image a few days ago, but I used different colours on this card.  You can find this wonderful and versatile image in Conie's etsy shop here.  Here is my Design Team inspirational card:

I used Copic markers to colour this image.  I added some icicles at the top of the card and some snowflakes.

There is more fabulous inspiration by the other DT members, and other crafters who love Conie Fong's images, on her Facebook groups called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.

Twinkle Emily by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  It's hard to believe that June is almost gone, right?  I am sharing my latest Design Team card which showcases a sweet image called Twinkle Emily by Conie Fong.  You can find her in Conie's etsy shop here.  You get five PNG images with this bundle (Emily facing right and left with hat, Emily facing right and left without hat, and one sentiment).

I used Copic markers to colour her, and I drew a little step stool for her.  I also stamped the stars around her, and added some pearls at the top of the frame.

Tuxedo Always Works by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Greetings friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  The Design Team members have been on their holiday break but now Team A is back for The Paper Shelter's first challenge (#621) of 2025.

The theme for this week is:

A WINTERY PROJECT or

I decided to go with the Shades of Blue theme for my card.  I chose the fabulous Tuxedo Always Works by TPS digital stamps.  I used this image once before but with different colours.  Here is my DT card:

I used Copic markers to colour this awesome image.  The flower is handmade, and is raised with 3-D foam.  I used a slimline die and sized it so that it would fit onto my A-6 card.

Poinsettia Sprite by Aurora Wings

Greetings friends!  I made this project a number of years ago but never posted it.  I decided to try my hand at a book folding candle.

I coloured the adorable "Poinsettia Sprite" digital image by Aurora Wings with Copic markers.  Then, I proceeded to fussy cut her.  Unfortunately, she is no longer available.

I found a video on how to make a book folding candle. See here.  This was somewhat tedious but well worth it. Once I finished the candle and hot glued the ends together, I glued it onto a flat lid.  I glued the little sprite onto the front of the candle, and decorated it.  I placed a tee light candle at the top.  And voila...a book fold candle!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday and a wonderful new year.  Hugs, Lori xx

Balloon House YouTube video by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  Today's post features an adorable image by Conie Fong called Balloon House.  Conie has a YouTube channel where she teaches you how to draw this balloon house, along with some other super cute images.  Please see here.

Conie converted this image to JPG format for the Design Team members so that you can see how truly awesome and versatile this image is.  I coloured the image with Copic markers.  This is the second card that I made with this image.  On the first card, the balloons were opaque.  This time, I made the balloons transparent.  Here is my Design Team card:

I coloured the image with Copic markers, as usual.  Remember to check out Conie's YouTube videos here.  And, if you like these videos, please subscribe and leave a comment.
