Poppy in Blue by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hi crafty friends!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  The weather here is still pretty awful.  It's either raining or very cloudy.  We hardly ever see the sun.

This is my third card for this month which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's monthly Facebook challenge.
There is also a blog challenge.  If you enter either challenge, or both, you may win some beautiful images.
This time, I am featuring the gorgeous "Poppy in Blue" image by Ching-Chou Kuik, found here:
The Design Team was challenged to use buttons, so I used buttons as the flower centers.

I used my favourite mediums to colour this beautiful image (Copic markers and Polychromos pencils).  The flowers are handmade.  I wish you a happy week.  Lori xx

Angel Wishes by Conie Fong

Hi!  I hope all the mothers out there had a wonderful Mother's Day.  My older son, who lives close to me, surprised me by coming to my apartment equipped with all the ingredients necessary to make goulash.  He is quite the cook and the dinner was truly delicious.  I was so touched by his thoughtful gesture!

Today, I am happy to share my DT card featuring the super sweet image "Angel Wishes" by Conie Fong.  This endearing image comes with the little angel facing left and right, and is found in Conie's etsy shop here:
I made this card for Conie's monthly Facebook challenge.  The theme this month is "Add Flowers" - right up my alley.
Conie also has a Colouring Only challenge.

I used my Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour this darling image.  My handmade flowers are small because I wanted the primary focus to be on the image.  I wish you a lovely day.  xx

Come Softly by Ching Chou Kuik

Hi crafty friends!  I hope you are all doing well.  Spring has not been very cooperative thus far.  It's been either cloudy, cold, raining or all three on any given day.  It would be nice to see some  sunshine, for sure.

I have created a center step card this time as my DT inspiration for Ching-Chou Kuik's monthly Facebook challenge (theme: lace).
There is also a blog challenge.  This beautiful image is "Come Softly" found here:

Here is a side view:

The image is coloured with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I wanted to include the same butterfly that's part of the image as an embellishment so I printed two copies of the image, fussy cut them and popped them around the image to add some interest.  The tiny flowers are handmade.  I wish you a lovely weekend.  xx

Materials and Tools Used

Border:    Heartfelt Creations "Layered Elegant Swirl" die
Flowers:  EK Success "Retro" punch (small)
Label:      Spellbinders "Vintage Lace Motifs" die

Swarovski crystals and lace are from my stash.
