Dragon Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  I am sharing my Design Team card showcasing one of Conie Fong's adorable images called "Dragon Bouquet".  This is the second card that I have made with this cute and versatile image. 

I used Copic markers to colour this image, and I drew the background.  There is more wonderful inspiration by the other DT members, as well as other crafters who enjoy colouring Conie Fong's images, on her Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.

Braids in My Hair by Conie Fong

Hi there friends!  I am such a fan of Conie Fong's  beautiful images.  That said, I am sharing my Design Team card which showcases Braids in My Hair by Conie Fong.  This is the third card that I made using this gorgeous image.  

I colored this lovely image with Copic markers and some FC Polychromos pencils.  Since it's fall where I live, I used fall colours this time.  Then, I chalked some areas of the slimline frame, and I added some handmade flowers. 

Conie has a Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group where you can find some amazing inspiration by the other Design Team members as well as other crafters.  She also has a fabulous YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you, step by step, how to draw simple images.

Merry Season by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello friends!  We are halfway through MerMay but there is still time for you to join in the fun on a group on Facebook called Paper Crafting for Everyone.  It is a private group but you can join it because there is lots of wonderful inspiration there.

I found this gorgeous images in my stash of uncoloured images and decided to colour it.  It is called Merry Season by Ching-Chou Kuik.     Here is my slimline card.

I made a card with this beautiful image once before and I used the same colours except for her outfit.  I coloured her with Copic markers.  I created a little scene at the bottom of the card with some lovely dies.

Happy by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  This week is the start of our Summer Break Challenge on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  It is a four week break, and both Design Teams will be participating.  You can still enter this challenge but we will not be commenting so that we can spend some of our summer vacation with our families.

Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom by Conie Fong

Hello dear friends, and welcome to today's post.  It's Fairy Day over on Conie Fong's Facebook group and the DTs have created some beautiful fairy cards.  I used the darling Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom image by Conie Fong.  Here is my DT card:

As always, I coloured this sweetie with Copic markers.  I applied clear Wink of Stella to her wings for a pretty shimmer, and I also added some 3-D stickers on the frame.  I generally gravitate toward bold/bright colours but there are times that a prefer softer colours, like the background on this card.

Rabbit Holding Daffodil by Conie Fong

Hey there, peeps!  Today, I am sharing a second card showcasing a newly released image by Conie Fong.  Conie recently released four darling little bunny rabbit images which would be perfect for Easter cards.  Not only can this sweet image be used for an Easter card, but for other occasions as well.  This sweetie is Rabbit Holding Daffodil by Conie Fong.  Here is my DT card:

I coloured this little bunny with Copic markers.  I decided that I wanted an egg frame and so I found this cute egg frame clipart by Yo Price Ville.

Sweetheart by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi peeps! I hope you are all well.  We have a super easy theme this week on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog:  ANYTHING GOES.  I decided to make a birthday card showcasing the adorable Sweetheart image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps. This is my DT inspiration:  

As always, my Copic markers and Polychromos pencils were used to colour this cutie.   I generally always colour an image first but, this time, I wanted to use the colours on the lovely background paper, and so I pulled some colours from the paper to colour the image. 

This will be our last challenge until August 18 because both Design Teams will be taking a break during this time.

The Paper Shelter 11th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

For my card, I used the darling "Shopping Girl" image.  I wanted to create something different so I found this wonderful free alarm clock image from PNG Logos which I thought would compliment the image perfectly.  

I used a combination of Copic markers and Polychromos pencils to colour this adorable image.  I cut the sentiment twice and offset it for added dimension and interest.
