Hey there, friends! Summer began in my neck of the woods yesterday. I have to say that summer is my least favourite season. Too hot and humid, and way too many bugs. However, I do love that the days are longer.
Challenge #517 starts today on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. This week's theme is THINGS WITH WINGS. What a versatile theme, right? I chose the darling Pixie image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps. She is so very sweet!
This card is smaller than the standard slimline cards. It measures 3.5" x 6.25. I followed an awesome video tutorial by Karen Aicken. Her video shows you how to use 6" x 6" papers to create mini slimline cards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FPXyyvWzig

This cutie is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils. I applied Liquid Pearls (Petal Pink) to the butterflies' bodies, and Wink of Stella to the fairy's wings.

Lori, what an adorable image, great coloring and patterned paper selections. Nice interpretation of the AHSC challenge, but I'm not seeing a YouNique technique as identified in our Thing 1 requirement; however,, thanks for sharing your card using 6 x 6 papers for your special background.
