Gnome with Heart Balloon - Without Grass by Conie Fong

Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to my post!  Today, I am sharing my Design Team card which I created for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge.  This cute image is "Gnome with Heart Balloon".  It comes with and without grass and in PNG and JPEG format.

As always, I coloured the image with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  The image also comes with a number of sentiments but I decided to add my own.  I cut the houses twice and offset them to create some dimension.

That's all for today.  Please take good care of yourselves.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Happy New Year! by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday.  Welcome to Team A's first challenge of 2022 for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog

The theme this week is "New Beginnings".  The lovely image that I chose is Happy New Year by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.

This delightful image is so cute.  I coloured it with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I wanted the card to have a festive look so I added some balloons and stars.  The border at the top was cut twice and offset for added dimension.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Don't forget to stop by The Paper Challenge Blog to see the beautiful cards by the other designers.  And, while you are there, why not join in the fun?  We would love to see your creations.  And, remember that there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Jezz and Kitt by Digi Doodle Studios

Hello friends!  I wish you and your loved ones a healthy and very Happy New Year.  I hope this year is better than the past two years.

Digi Doodle Studios' first challenge for this year started yesterday.  The theme is "Be Happy/Favorite Things".  I chose the delightful Jezz and Kitt image.  This image makes me happy because it includes a sweet kitty and a lovely fairy (two of my favourite things).  OK, kitties aren't things but they definitely occupy a special place in my heart.

I created a simple background for this darling image.  The mediums that I used are Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I applied clear Wink of Stella to the fairy's wings.  The lovely papers are from Heartfelt Creations "Sugarspun Collection" paper pad.  I printed the sentiment right onto the cardstock.  I also used a tiny heart punch by Studio G and added the hearts to the top and bottom portions of the card.

There is also a Digi Doodle Studios challenge on Facebook.  We would love to see your creations on either the blog or FB (or both) so why not join in the fun?

That's all from me today.  I wish you a great day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Bluebird by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - Card #2

Hello everybody!  Last week, I made a card using the beautiful "Bluebird" digital image by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  Since I coloured two of this beautiful image at the same time, I decided to make a second card with it.  I coloured this one with mostly FC Polychromos pencils and a few Copic markers.  The flowers are handmade.

I thank you for taking the time to visit.  I hope to see you soon.  Merry Christmas!  Hugs, Lori xx

Bunny Hearts - Girl by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  My Design Team card today features the delightful Bunny Hearts - Girl image by Conie Fong.  Isn't she just darling?  Conie also has a little boy version called Bunny Hearts - Boy.  Such adorable and versatile images.

This sweetie was coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  The shine on the balloons was made with a 0.7 mm white Posca pen.  I used my own cloud template to create the clouds with chalks.  The sentiment is backed with Spellbinders "Classic Scalloped Circles Small" dies and a round circle.

Thank you for visiting.  I always appreciate it.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx
