Cherry Sprite

Hi everyone!  I made this card a few weeks ago for the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.  Mitzi has so many darling little sprites. This delightful image is "Cherry Sprite" by Aurora Wings.  You can find this cutie here:

She is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I decided to create a frame with lace and a matching bow ornament.  I used "Wicker Weave" embossing folder by Cuttlebug and "Doily Lace" punch by Martha Stewart.  Cherries charm, pearls and flowers are from my stash.

Peace for Everyone

Hi, peeps!  Last week, I posted my older son's birthday card.  My younger son celebrated his birthday a week later.  Here is his card.  I used Ching-Chou Kuik's beautiful "Peace for Everyone" image which is in her etsy shop here:

A close-up of this beauty:

I used "Clockworks" embossing folder by Cuttlebug and then I made a faux patina background.  I also used "Steampunk Clock" die by La-La Land Crafts and "Chain" punch by EK Success.  My flower is handmade.  The image is coloured with Copics and Faber-Castelll Polychromos.

Check out Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook page (Ching-Chou Digital Stamps).  She is currently having a "Be Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci" Challenge.  Leonardo had many ideas that made use of weights, gears and pulleys.  He was also interested in robotics and this lovely image was perfect for that theme.

Have a happy day,

Night Shadow

Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted.  My older son's birthday was last week so I created this card for him.  This gorgeous image is Ching-Chou Kuik's "Night Shadow" which can be found here in her etsy shop:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/586800783/night-shadow-grayscale-digital-stamp?ref=shop_home_active_17

.

I coloured this beautiful image with Copic markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. My flowers are handmade.  I used "Wild Flowers" Around the Page punch by Martha Stewart and "Wreath" die by Spellbinders.

I am very proud to say that I am part of  Ching-Chou Kuik's Design Team on Facebook and so I created this for her "Be Inspired by Leonard da Vinci" Challenge this month.  Wonderful theme for a masculine card!  Leonardo developed a life-long fascination with nature and with flight, so he studied birds.  I thought this was the perfect image to symbolize that.

Enjoy your day,
