Hello friends!  I hope you've done all your Christmas shopping, or close to it.  I'm all set and even mailed my Christmas and Hanukkah cards this past Tuesday.  I feel so accomplished!  LOL

My DT inspirational slimline card showcases the darling Molly Cutie image by Conie Fong.  This image comes with a second image which has some minor differences, and it just as sweet.

As always, I used Copics and Polychromos to colour the image, and  I drew a simple background for this cutie. The sentiment is computer generated.

That's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting.  Have a lovely weekend.  Hugs, Lori xx

Sweet Things by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Good morning, lovely crafters, and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 12th birthday on December 8.

This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part. It is our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenges. The theme for this special challenge is BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS.

I coloured this adorable image with my usual mediums (Copics and Polychromos).  The little cupcakes are from Heartfelt Creations' Sugarspun Collection paper pad.  I will admit that I love cupcakes, especially with chocolate frosting!  LOL

If you've arrived here from Julie's blog, then you are heading in the right direction.  If not, you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.

Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize (details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog).

From here you need to hop over to Sammy Jean's blog.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one the the fabulous digis available in TPS store.

Good luck!  I hope you've enjoyed the hop so far.  Thank you very much for visiting.  Have a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Garden Bouquet by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  For those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday, I hope it was an enjoyable and happy day.

Today, I am sharing my inspirational DT card featuring Conie Fong's gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image.  This lovely image also comes with a second image called "Bootiful Bouquet".

I coloured the image with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  Then, I decided to fussy cut the image.  It's been raining and dark all day today so it was a bit hard to take a good photo.  The card does look considerably better IRL.

I thank you for stopping by.  It's very appreciated.  Have a lovely weekend.

Halloween Witch Kitty by Aurora Wings Digital Stamps

Greetings friends!  Halloween is almost upon us and that always makes me smile because I have such cherished memories of my children wearing their Halloween costumes (which I made) when they were young.  They are adults now but I still send them Halloween cards and a special treat!

I made this card some time ago and never posted it, so here it is.  It features the adorable Halloween Witch Kitty by Aurora Wings.

I used Copic markers to colour this super cute image.  The flower is handmade and also coloured with Copics.  The stamens were originally white but I coloured them with my trusty Copics.

Buffy n Friends by Digi Doodle Studios Digi Stamps

Greetings friends!  Welcome to my DT post today for Digi Doodle Studios.  Halloween always evokes such warm and wonderful memories for me.  My kids and I very much enjoyed decorating the inside of our house, as well as the outside, for this fun holiday.  My sons loved wearing their costumes to school, and taking part in the parade outside the school while proud parents watched them.  Then, we would go Trick-or-Treating after dinner while their dad waited for other Trick-or Treaters to visit our house.

This sweet image is Buffy n Friends by Digi Doodle Studios.  I drew the background except for the haunted house.  Copics and Polychromos were used to colour the image and background.

Digi Doodle Studios has both a challenge blog and a Facebook challenge.  The Theme this month is CREEPY CUTE / SPOOKY / BELIEVE IN MAGIC.

This will be my last post for Digi Doodle Studios because they are shutting down at the end of this month.  Why not visit their etsy shop before they close their doors?  DDS will, however, continue to create adorable clear stamps, dies and more on Ink n' Splatter.

That's all from me today.  I thank you for visiting, and I with you a wonderful day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Happy Witches Brew by Digi Doodle Studios

Hello friends!  Halloween always brings back some wonderful memories of my children when they would dress up in their costumes and go Trick-or-Treating around our neighbourhood.  What fun they had!  Of course, I would drive them to each house.  I also had a lot of fun making their costumes.

The theme on the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog this month is CREEPY CUTE / SPOOKY / BELIEVE IN MAGIC.  There is also a DDS Facebook challenge.

I chose the fabulous Happy Witches Brew by Digi Doodle Studios for my DT card.  I just had to draw a background for this cute witch.

I used a combination of Copics and Polychromos to colour the image and background.  The cobwebs and the cute little black kitty are stamps that I have in my stash.

I am really sad to inform you that Digi Doodle Studios will be closing its etsy shop at the end of this month.  So, hurry over and visit before they close their doors.  They will, however, continue to produce clear stamps, dies and more on Ink n' Splatter.

Thank you for visiting.  I truly appreciate it.  Have a lovely day, and take good care of yourselves.  Hugs, Lori xx

Cute Dressmaker by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hey there, friends!  Is September really almost over?  Times surely flies!  The new challenge (#527) on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog starts today.  This week, the theme is BUTTONS and/or BOWS.

I chose the darling Cute Dressmaker image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  Instead of using real buttons, I decided to use part of a sticker frame set that I bought at Walmart many, many years ago!  LOL  I used some 3-D foam to raise it for some depth.

As always, I used Copics and Polychromos to colour this delightful image.  And, I used silver paper for the blades of the scissors.

If you would like to see more wonderful inspiration by the other DT, see here.  While you are there, why don't you join us?  There are some fabulous prizes to be won.

Thank you for your visit.  It's very appreciated.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx
