Hello friends!  Hope you are well.  It's hard to believe that it's been a little over two months since I had a total knee replacement surgery.  Time sure flies!

Glittery and Sparkling by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Greetings friends!  April sure flew by!  Hope you are well.  Today begins a new challenge (#553) on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  The theme for this week is

ADD SOME TEXTURE

I used the lovely Glittery and Sparkling image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  I already created a card some time ago with this image and I coloured her hair with multiple colours.  This time, I decided to go with blonde.  For texture, I used a beautiful border die.  I also embossed the patterned paper with a crackle embossing folder but, unfortunately,  it doesn't seem to show up well.  Here is my DT card.

As always, I used Copics to colour her. I added some dimensional stickers which are the same colour as her hair.

For more amazing inspiration by the other Design Team members, please visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. If you join in the fun, you may win some beautiful images. So, check it out!

Thanks very much for visiting.  I wish you a happy day.  Lori xx

Bee with Heart Bundle (Girl) by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  Welcome to today's post.  Conie Fong has some truly darling new releases (nine of them) in her etsy shop.  My DT card features one of them.  This delightfully sweet bee is the girl version of Conie's Bee with Heart Bundle.  The release includes an adorable boy bee, along with two sentiments and a flower.  Plus, it's available in PNG and JPG formats.

Is she not the sweetest?  I coloured her with Copic markers.  I like to add some shimmer whenever an image has wings so I applied some clear Wink of Stella. The card has a white base but it's hard to see here.

Remember to visit Conie's etsy shop to see all the truly beautiful images.  In addition, Conie has a Facebook group where she hosts a monthly challenge.  If you win, you may receive some adorable images.

Well, that's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting.  I always appreciate it.  Until next time, Lori xx

Bumble Becca by Digi Doodle Studios

Hello friends, and welcome to my post today.  Digi Doodle Studios' new challenge has started.  The theme is METAL and/or SPARKLE.  I love anything sparkly and so I chose to go with SPARKLE.  There is also a DDS Facebook challenge.

This darling image is one of the images from the new release.  She is called "Bumble Becca".

The background is drawn by me, and I coloured her with my usual mediums (Copics and Polychromos).  I used black glitter cardstock for all the mats, and I applied clear Wink of Stella glitter to her wings.

I am sad to inform you that DDS will be retiring their digital line but they will continue to produce their clear stamps on Ink n' Splatter.  Also, there is a retirement sale going on now until September 11.

Well, that's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting.  I hope to see you again.  Hugs, Lori xx

Daisy Elf by Aurora Wings

Hi friends!  I decided to make a clean and simple card using the sweet "Daisy Elf" image by Aurora Wings.  I wanted to add some interest, so I used an embossing folder by Darice called "Scroll Flourish Corner".

This sweet little elf is coloured with Copic markers, as is the butterfly.  The lovely "Leanna Butterfly" die is by Memory Box.  I added glitter to the elf's wings and the butterflies' wings.

That's all from me today. Thank you for visiting. I wish you a wonderful day. Hugs, Lori  xx

The Swarovski crystals on the butterfly's body are from my stash.

Relaxing Bubbles by House Mouse Designs

Hello everybody!  I needed a masculine birthday card and so I found a stamped image in a drawer where I keep coloured and stamped images.  I thought it would be perfect.

This cute image is "Relaxing Bubbles" by House Mouse Designs and I believe it is a rubber mounted stamp. This adorable image reminded me of how much I enjoy taking a bath every now and then, especially in the fall and winter months.

When I moved here three years ago, I left a few boxes unpacked and it might be in one of those boxes.  I tried to find it on the House Mouse store, without success.  It may have been discontinued.  Sorry about that.

As always, I used my Copic markers to colour this adorable image.

I wish my American friends a happy July 4th.  Stay safe, enjoy your weekend, and hope to see you again.  Hugs, Lori xx

Garden Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello there, friends.  I just love flowers!  That said, I am sharing my DT card showcasing the gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image by Conie Fong, found in her etsy shop here:

This image is not only beautiful but versatile as well and can be used for numerous occasions.  I have coloured this image before but I decided to use darker, bolder colours this time.

This is the inside of the card:

Copics and Polychromos were used to colour the image.  I cut a circle using the same background paper, embossed it and inked the edges and dots.  I applied Swarovski crystals to the bodies of the butterflies, and inked their wings so that they matched the flowers.

Conie's current Facebook challenge is still going on.  Why not join in the fun?  We'd love to see your creations. You may win some stunning images from Conie.

Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again.  Enjoy your day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Peace for Everyone

Hi, peeps!  Last week, I posted my older son's birthday card.  My younger son celebrated his birthday a week later.  Here is his card.  I used Ching-Chou Kuik's beautiful "Peace for Everyone" image which is in her etsy shop here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/259195886/peace-for-everyone-instant-download?ref=shop_home_active_7

A close-up of this beauty:

I used "Clockworks" embossing folder by Cuttlebug and then I made a faux patina background.  I also used "Steampunk Clock" die by La-La Land Crafts and "Chain" punch by EK Success.  My flower is handmade.  The image is coloured with Copics and Faber-Castelll Polychromos.

Check out Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook page (Ching-Chou Digital Stamps).  She is currently having a "Be Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci" Challenge.  Leonardo had many ideas that made use of weights, gears and pulleys.  He was also interested in robotics and this lovely image was perfect for that theme.

Have a happy day,
Lori P  xx
