Garden Daisy Fairy

Hello everyone!

Another Monday already.  Weekends go by too quickly.  I am sharing my DT inspirational card today which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook Challenge on Facebook.  The theme this month is "Summertime/Seaside".  I think this beautiful image is just perfect since so many of us enjoy gardening.  This is "Garden Daisy Fairy" and is found in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:

This adorable image is coloured with Copic markers and FB Polychromos pencils.

Princess Molly

Hi peeps!

Welcome to my DT inspiration post for the Conie Fong Art & Design Group monthly Facebook challenge.  The theme this month is "Flowers".  How exciting!  Conie has some of the most endearing and darling images.  This little sweetie (one of Conie's recent releases) is "Princess Molly" and you get 4 images (Molly facing left and right, with and without balloons).  What a versatile image this is.  It can be found in Conie's etsy shop here:

As always, I have used my Copics markers and FB Polychromos pencils to colour her.  Here is a close-up:

I used Spellbinders' "Floral Ovals" die.  Flowers are handmade.  Swirl crystals are from my stash.

I wish you a happy weekend.  Lori P xx

Stars

Hi, crafty friends!

I am showcasing this card (which is actually an easel card) that I made for the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.  The current theme is "Once Upon a Time".  What a wonderful theme!

This glorious image "Stars" by Mitzi reminded me of the German fairy tale "Rapunzel" by the Brothers Grimm.  She is a beautiful princess who has long, magical, golden hair.  You can find this beautiful image in Mitzi's etsy shop here, and she is currently on sale:

A close-up:

She is coloured with my beloved Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  Here is a side view:

I always have such fun making my own flowers.  The beads for the hatpin, pearls and trim at the top are from my stash.  I used Spellbinder's "Fleur de Lis Rectangles" die and "Twisted Metal Tags and Accents" die.

I wish you a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Spring Night

Hello!

Welcome to my DT inspirational post for Ching-Chou Kuik's new Facebook Challenge.  The theme is "Summertime/Seaside" and I though this gorgeous image captured it perfectly.  This is "Spring Night" and you can find it, along with 3 other images, in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/495482036/digital-stamp-spring-mermaid-fairy-set?ref=shop_home_active_76

A close-up:

I used a free clip art seashell image as my base, printed it out onto 2-sided patterned card stock and cut it out by hand.  Next, I folded another piece of the 2-sided card stock in half, placed it over the back of the first piece of card stock (leaving 3/4 inch at the top) and cut that out.  I then glued the two pieces together.  Voila!

I've coloured her with Copic markers and FB Polychromos pencils.  The flowers are made with Martha Stewart's small and medium hydrangea punches.  The net die is Marianne Craftables (LR1409) die.  Seashells, starfish, Swarovski crystals and pearl spray are from my stash.

Have a lovely day!  Lori P xx

OR
as a set of 10 images here:

Here is a closer look of this beautiful image:

As always, I've used my Copic markers and my FC Polychromos pencils to colour her.  This card is actually an easel card.

I used Memory Box's "Splash Border" die, Spellbinder's "Fancy Tags 2" die and Joy Crafts' "French Lily Corner" die.  Starfish, seashells and gems are from my stash.  And, all my flowers are handmade with  paper punches.  I wish you a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Emma and Ellie

Hello peeps!

I have been busy moving.  I never quite realised how much crafty stuff I had!  The weather here has been ridiculously hot but it's been sunny so that always makes things more pleasant.

I am so excited to share my GDT card which I made for Conie Fong's new Facebook challenge.  This month's theme is flowers so I couldn't be happier since I love making my own flowers.  This lovely and very endearing image is Conie's "Emma and Ellie" which can be found in her etsy shop here:
You get 2 images:  one with wings and one without wings.

I used a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to colour this sweet image.  Various paper punches were used to make the flowers.  Also used are Martha Stewart's "Vintage Doily" die and Cheery Lynn's "Fanciful Flourish" die.

Ribbon, pearls, gems and leaf charm are from my stash.  I wish you a happy day and a wonderful July 4th to my American friends.  Lori P xx
