Si Belle! by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi there, friends!  Today is Wednesday and so that means a brand new challenge on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog (#605).  This week's theme is:

HOLIDAY TIME

(Christmas, Easter or any vacation activity)

I have always wanted to visit Paris but have not to date.  In fact, I even have some cousins there.  Perhaps one day.  I can dream, right? I chose the lovely Si Belle! image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps because her cute outfit reminded me of Paris, and the image also reminded me of how romantic Paris is.  Here is my Design Team slimline card.

I coloured that sweet image with my Copic markers, and I drew a very simple background. I added some gems to the foliage.

You can find more fabulous inspiration by the other Design Team members here.  And, while there, why not join our challenge?  There are always some beautiful images to be won.

The Paper Shelter also has a Facebook group called The Paper Shelter Fan Group.  Check it out here.

That's all from me today.  Take care and have a wonderful day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Vintage Tea Cups by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Greetings, dear friends!  It's time for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog's new challenge (#603).  The theme this week is:

THREE TIMES ANYTHING

(three of the same embellishments, etc)

I love tea cups, and I have some truly gorgeous tea cups and saucers on display in my china closet and also on some of my shelves.  With that in mind, I just had to select a lovely image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps called Vintage Tea Cups.  Here is my Design Team card.

I used my trusty Copic markers to colour this lovely image.  I applied clear Wink of Stella (Zig) to the wings of the butterfly.  It's hard to see here but the wings have a pretty shimmer IRL.  The flowers are handmade and the centers are by EK Success.

If you'd like to see some more fabulous inspiration by the other Design Team members, see here.  And, while there, how about joining the challenge?  There are some beautiful images to be won.

There is also a group on Facebook called The Paper Shelter Fan Group which has more inspiration.

That's all from me today.  Take care, and have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Hammock Days by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends! Welcome to my Design Team post for the new challenge (#601) on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog which begins today.  This week's theme is

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

There are so many wonderful and fun summer activities.  Personally, I like to relax, read a good book, and have a delicious margarita, or two!  I found the perfect image for my slimline card called Hammock Days by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  This young lady certainly has the right idea as far as I am concerned!

As usual, I coloured her with Copic markers and I drew a relaxing background for her.  Now she is all set.

The Paper Shelter has a Facebook group called The Paper Shelter Fan Group.  This group has some great inspiration.  For more inspiration, stop by The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  You will see more amazing inspiration by the other Design Team members.  While there, why not join our challenge?  There are some lovely images to be won.  Check out the new prize details as of June 2024:

I coloured this beauty with Copic markers.  The flowers are handmade.

Giraffe on a Sailboat YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  Today, I am sharing a card which features an adorable image by Conie Fong called Giraffe on a Sailboat.  Conie shows you how to draw this image on her YouTube channel called Draw with Conie, along with some other simple images.

Conie converted this sweet image to JPG format for the Design Team members so they can colour it and create a card with it, and show you how cute it really is.  Here is my Design Team card.

I coloured the image with Copic markers and I drew a simple background.

If you decide to draw this image yourself, you can then share your drawing on Conie's Facebook group called Draw with Conie.

Conie has another Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  Check it out to see some amazing inspiration.

That's all from me today.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong (card 2)

Hi friends, and welcome to today's post.  I am sharing a mermaid card which I made using the darling Little Mermaid image by Conie Fong which you can find in her etsy shop.  This is the second card that I made this sweet mermaid.  Here is my Design Team card.

I have used Copic markers to colour her, and I created a little underwater scene by drawing the coral and the bubbles.

Conie Fong has a fabulous YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you how to draw a simple mermaid and other adorable simple images.

Conie has two groups on Facebook.  One is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  You will find some wonderful inspiration by the other Design Team members as well as other crafters.

Conie's other Facebook group is called Draw with Conie.  If you follow Conie's step by step tutorials and draw one of her images, you can post it on this group.

That's all from me.  Take good care of yourselves.  Have a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx
