Wedding Couple

Good morning, crafty friends!  My niece is getting married in July and so I thought I'd make a card for her and her future husband with the magnificent "Wedding Couple" image by Aurora Wings.  You can find this beautiful image in Mitzi's etsy shop here:

I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour the image.  I made the calla lily with crepe paper.

I am entering this card on the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog https://aurorawingschallenge.blogspot.com/.  Check it out. This month's theme is "Joyous Occasions" and I thought this beautiful image is perfect.

I used Spellbinders' "Fairmont Decorative Accent" https://www.amazon.com/Spellbinders-S6-059-Nestabilities-Fairmont-Decorative/dp/B01C2Y86HU over the base of the card.  Pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

I wish you a happy day.  Lori P xx

Sunflower Bella

A good morning to you!  Showcasing my Guest Designer card for Conie Fong's Facebook May Monthly Challenge (theme:  ATG or ladies/girls).  It runs until the end of the month so why not check it out?  I used the delightful "Sunflower Bella" image, found here in Conie's etsy shop:
This darling little image comes with the little bear facing left and right.

Is that not the sweetest little face?  She's coloured with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I made the sunflower with Love Nicole mini embossing die https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOVE-NICOLE-Mini-Embossing-Die-Flowers-Cutting-Die-STC0261-NEW-/323133495829 .  I used Heartfelt Creations' "Fleur Border Basics Die", found here:
The tiny butterflies are made with Martha Stewart's "Royal Butterfly" punch https://www.ebay.com/i/253581898952?chn=ps

Here is a close-up of this little sweetie:

Bootiful Bouquet

Hello!  Last week I posted a beautiful image by Conie Fong called "Garden Bouquet" which has gorgeous flowers in a watering can.  This time, I am sharing my GD card featuring Conie Fong's fabulous image called "Bootiful Bouquet" which has gorgeous flowers in  garden boots. You can find this lovely image here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/594284066/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-conie?ref=shop_home_active_2
I've always loved flowers in different receptacles. So, without further delay, here is my card:

As always, I used a combination of Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.   I thought it would be fun to make some 3-D flowers which mimic the ones on the image.  The doily behind the flowers is Memory Box's "Quinn Flourish".

Have a happy day!  Lori P xx

Crimson Moon

Hi everybody!  Another lovely day here.  I created this card a few weeks ago for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook Challenge which is going on now until the end of the month. The theme is"Grayscale Colouring with Optional Pop of One Colour".  This glorious image is "Crimson Moon" and you can find it here in Ching-Chou's etsy shop:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/205404135/crimson-moon-digital-stamp-instant?ref=shop_home_active_59
Isn't she beautiful?  Ching-Chou has so many gorgeous images.

I have coloured her with a combination of Copic markers (warm and cool grays) and FC Polychromos pencils.  I used Crafter's Companion Die'sire "Elizabeth" die https://www.amazon.com/Crafters-Companion-Diesire-Create-Die-Elizabeth/dp/B01N5G0SSI
I made my flowers with various punches.  The butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.  Swarovski crystals are from my stash.

Garden Bouquet

A good morning to you!  It's a beautiful sunny day and I can hear the birds chirping.  All my flowers, bushes and trees are starting to bloom and my koi are happily swimming around their pond.  Such a beautiful season!  Today,  I am showcasing my DT card made with Conie Fong's gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image, found here:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/608124609/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-conie?ref=shop_home_active_3

I wanted to create something different and not include flowers since this image already has such glorious flowers.  I decided to make a background for it and so I fussy cut it. I thought a fence would be perfect but since I didn't have a large fence die, I used Stampin' Up's "Hardwood" clear mount stamp  https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/product/133035/hardwood-clear-mount-stamp
I coloured it up, cut the individual pieces and inked them.  I remember seeing this done a while ago on Pinterest and thought I would try it too.  Finally, I raised the image with 3-D dots.

Here is a close-up:

I used a combination of Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils. The larger butterflies and grass are dies by Cheery Lynn and the tiny butterflies are by Marianne Creatables.  Swarovski crystals are from my stash.  I hope you have a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Aloha Lady

Hello, peeps!  Hope you all had a nice weekend.  This is my inspirational DT card created for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge this month.  The theme is "Grayscale Colouring with the Optional Pop of One Colour".  Of course, I had to add the colour!  This lovely lady can be found here:

Here is a close-up:

I have coloured her with Copic markers (warm and cool grays) and FC Polychromos pencils.  I made the flower with Heartfelt Creations' "Tropical Hibiscus" cling rubber stamp.  The border at the top is Joy Crafts "Filigree Border".  Also used is Martha Stewart's "String Lace" punch.

The larger butterflies and the top corners were made with Cheery Lynn dies, and the tiny butterflies with a Martha Stewart's "Royal" punch.  Swarovski crystals are from my stash.

I wish you a happy week.  Hugs, Lori P xx
