Message in the Bottle by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hi there, peeps!  I hope you had a pleasant weekend.  The weather here has been truly dismal.  It would be so nice to see the sun.  I am sharing my final DT card (an easel card) for this month which showcases the lovely "Message in the Bottle" image by Ching-Chou Kuik.  You can find it, along with 9 other beautiful mermaids, here:
I made this card for Ching-Chou's monthly Facebook challenge. The theme is Celebrations.
You may win some gorgeous images if you enter.

This is what it looks like when opened:

The card base is made by using a free fish bowl clip art image.  I've coloured this lovely image, and the koi, with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  The little flower is handmade.  I wish you a happy week.  Until next time, Lori P xx

Stars

Hi, crafty friends!

I am showcasing this card (which is actually an easel card) that I made for the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog.  The current theme is "Once Upon a Time".  What a wonderful theme!

This glorious image "Stars" by Mitzi reminded me of the German fairy tale "Rapunzel" by the Brothers Grimm.  She is a beautiful princess who has long, magical, golden hair.  You can find this beautiful image in Mitzi's etsy shop here, and she is currently on sale:

A close-up:

She is coloured with my beloved Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  Here is a side view:

I always have such fun making my own flowers.  The beads for the hatpin, pearls and trim at the top are from my stash.  I used Spellbinder's "Fleur de Lis Rectangles" die and "Twisted Metal Tags and Accents" die.

I wish you a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Purple Tender

Hi all!

I forgot to post my DT card earlier this week which I created for Ching-Chou Kuik's July Facebook Challenge (theme:  Summertime/Seaside).  She has such beautiful images.  This one is "Purple Tender" and you can find it as a set with 2 images in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:
OR
as a set of 10 images here:

Here is a closer look of this beautiful image:

As always, I've used my Copic markers and my FC Polychromos pencils to colour her.  This card is actually an easel card.

I used Memory Box's "Splash Border" die, Spellbinder's "Fancy Tags 2" die and Joy Crafts' "French Lily Corner" die.  Starfish, seashells and gems are from my stash.  And, all my flowers are handmade with  paper punches.  I wish you a lovely day!  Lori P xx
