Light of Beatitude by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello lovely peeps!  I hope you had a happy weekend.  We've had quite the snowstorm here.  I am sharing my DT card which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge.  She also has a blog challenge.

 The DT's theme for this week is "Mythical Creatures".  I love mermaids and so I chose the glorious "Light of Beatitude" image, found here:

I used Copic Markers and Polychromos pencils to colour her.  The lace was originally white but I dyed it with Glimmer Mist (Cosmos).  Her wings are covered with clear Wink of Stella.  I made the flowers.  Enjoy your day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Die cut behind image:     Spellbinders "Big Scalloped Circles" dies

Label behind sentiment:  Spellbinders "Vintage Lace Motifs" dies  (cut down to shorten it)

Lace, pearls, prills, Wink of Stella and glimmer Mist are from my stash.
