Purple Dragonfly by Ching-Chou Kuik

Good morning, friends!  Today, I am showcasing my DT inspirational card with the beautiful "Purple Dragonfly" image by Ching-Chou Kuik, found here:
I made this card for Ching-Chou's Facebook challenge where, if you enter, you may win some wonderful prizes.  The theme is "Happy Christmas/Happy Birthday".

Here is a side view:

She is coloured with my usual mediums (Copics and Polychromos pencils).  I love sparkle so I applied clear Wink of Stella to all the dragonflies' wings.  I wanted to add some dragonflies to my card so I printed out the image twice.  I fussy cut, and coloured, the two dragonflies above the image. The flower is handmade.  That's it for today.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Base:     Marianne Creatables "Fancy Edge with Lattice" die LR0202
Flower:  Cricut "Plantin" cartridge

Floss, pearl flourish, Swarovski crystal and pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

Green Dragonfly

Happy Monday, crafty friends!

This is my final DT project for Ching-Chou Kuik's Monthly Facebook Challenge which runs until the end of this month (theme:  Recycle).  There are some wonderful images to be won.  Check it out here:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1788141307888835&type=3
This is what I started out with:

I made a valance for my bedroom window and then decided to cover this carton with the same fabric.  The lace was originally white but I dyed it so that it matches the fabric.  I put some natural dried grasses and tiny lights inside and voila!  A custom made cylindrical vase!

This gorgeous image is "Green Dragonfly" by Ching-Chou Kuik and can be found here in her etsy shop, along with 2 other beautiful images:

Here is a close-up of this lovely image:

Flowers, pearl border and ribbon are from my stash.  I have coloured her with my Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.

That's all for today.  Enjoy your day!  Lori P xx
