Shopping Girl by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Happy New Year, friends!  Welcome to my first post for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog for 2024.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  Both design teams for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog have been on break.  Today begins Team A's first challenge of the year (#579) for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  The theme is:

ALL THINGS NEW

I chose the lovely Shopping Girl image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps because who doesn't like shopping for new clothes and shoes, right?

I coloured this little lady with my Copic markers.  If you would like to see more inspiration by the other design team members, please look here.  And, while there, why not join in the fun?  There are always some wonderful images to be won.

Thank you for visiting.  Have a happy day and, again, happy new year.  Hugs, Lori xx

Spring Trends by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends, and welcome to my first DT post of this year for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog (#573).  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

This week's theme is NEW BEGINNINGS.  My card features the delightful Spring Trends image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  This little lady has started her new year by purchasing some new clothes and shoes.  Perhaps I should follow suit!  LOL

I coloured the image and the background (which I drew) with Copic markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.

For more inspiration by the other Design Team members, please visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.   And, while you are there, why not join in the fun?  There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

That's all from me today.  I thank you for visiting, and I hope you have a wonderful day.  Happy crafting, Lori xx

The Paper Shelter 11th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Good morning, lovely crafters! Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 11th Birthday on December 8th.  This will be a two week challenge, with both Design Teams taking part.

The theme for this special challenge is:  CELEBRATIONS

For my card, I used the darling "Shopping Girl" image.  I wanted to create something different so I found this wonderful free alarm clock image from PNG Logos which I thought would compliment the image perfectly.

I used a combination of Copic markers and Polychromos pencils to colour this adorable image.  I cut the sentiment twice and offset it for added dimension and interest.

If you have arrived here from Julie R's blog, then you are heading in the right direction.  If not, then you will want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog because you do not want to miss out on this one.

As I mentioned, both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter.  Moreover, each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

From here, you will need to hop over to Sammy Jean's blog.  Do not forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store.

Good luck, and I hope you have enjoyed the hop so far.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx
