Purple Tender

Hi all!

I forgot to post my DT card earlier this week which I created for Ching-Chou Kuik's July Facebook Challenge (theme:  Summertime/Seaside).  She has such beautiful images.  This one is "Purple Tender" and you can find it as a set with 2 images in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:
OR
as a set of 10 images here:

Here is a closer look of this beautiful image:

As always, I've used my Copic markers and my FC Polychromos pencils to colour her.  This card is actually an easel card.

I used Memory Box's "Splash Border" die, Spellbinder's "Fancy Tags 2" die and Joy Crafts' "French Lily Corner" die.  Starfish, seashells and gems are from my stash.  And, all my flowers are handmade with  paper punches.  I wish you a lovely day!  Lori P xx

Emma and Ellie

Hello peeps!

I have been busy moving.  I never quite realised how much crafty stuff I had!  The weather here has been ridiculously hot but it's been sunny so that always makes things more pleasant.

I am so excited to share my GDT card which I made for Conie Fong's new Facebook challenge.  This month's theme is flowers so I couldn't be happier since I love making my own flowers.  This lovely and very endearing image is Conie's "Emma and Ellie" which can be found in her etsy shop here:
You get 2 images:  one with wings and one without wings.

I used a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to colour this sweet image.  Various paper punches were used to make the flowers.  Also used are Martha Stewart's "Vintage Doily" die and Cheery Lynn's "Fanciful Flourish" die.

Ribbon, pearls, gems and leaf charm are from my stash.  I wish you a happy day and a wonderful July 4th to my American friends.  Lori P xx

This beauty has been coloured with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.

I used The Paper Studio's "Bricks" embossing folder
and CottageCutz "Springtime Window" die

I made all the flowers using assorted punches.  The vine at the top is from Heartfelt Creations' "Birds and Blooms" stamps and dies

Swarovski crystals are from my stash.  I wish you a lovely day.  Lori P xx

Goldie

Hi, crafty friends!

I was looking for something in my craft room a few days ago and I discovered this card that I made a little while ago.   While on Facebook today, I saw a reminder on the Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration group regarding their current blog challenge, so I thought I'd enter my card showcasing Sylvia Zet's  adorable "Goldie" image, found on Whimsy Stamps here:

I coloured her with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I used Martha Stewart's Deep Edge Punch called "Flourish Flower Trim" for the sides (which, when the card is open, you can see through the sides).
My flowers are made with EK Success' medium and small "Retro Flower" punches. I also used Memory Box "Loopy Rings" die  http://www.memoryboxco.com/98370-Loopy-Rings-craft-dies_p_138.html
Swarovski crystals, seashell, starfish and gauze are from my stash.

That's all from me today.  Have a lovely day.  Lori P xx

Spring Flower

Hello, dear peeps!
The Ching-Chou Kuik Monthly Facebook Challenge is in progress and I'm showcasing the stunning "Spring Flower" image which is in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:
The theme this month is "Celebrate".  Here is my card:

I used Crafter's Companion's "Die'sire Edge'able Wishing You a Happy Birthday" die for the base of the card.  https://www.ebay.com/p/Diesire-Edgeables-Wishing-You-a-Happy-Birthday-Die-by-Crafters-Companion/1355351899?iid=282975052572&chn=ps
I coloured this beauty with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  Her wings are glittered but it's hard to see here.

Here is a side view:

I love these word dies because you can place them at the top, sides, diagonally or on the middle of a card.  The flowers were made with various paper punches.  Pearls, Swarovski crystals and ribbon are from my stash.  Have a lovely day.  Lori P xx

Wedding Couple

Good morning, crafty friends!  My niece is getting married in July and so I thought I'd make a card for her and her future husband with the magnificent "Wedding Couple" image by Aurora Wings.  You can find this beautiful image in Mitzi's etsy shop here:

I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour the image.  I made the calla lily with crepe paper.

A close-up:

I am entering this card on the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog https://aurorawingschallenge.blogspot.com/.  Check it out. This month's theme is "Joyous Occasions" and I thought this beautiful image is perfect.

I used Spellbinders' "Fairmont Decorative Accent" https://www.amazon.com/Spellbinders-S6-059-Nestabilities-Fairmont-Decorative/dp/B01C2Y86HU over the base of the card.  Pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

I wish you a happy day.  Lori P xx
