Bookworm Fairy by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  It's hard to believe that it's already mid March.  We've been getting quite a bit of snow lately.  I am not of fan of snow anymore, nor cold weather.  But, we have to take what Mother Nature doles out, right?

This week's theme on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is

ADD A TAG

One of my most favourite pastimes is reading.  Hence, I decided to use the lovely Bookworm Fairy for my DT card.  Clearly, she is reading outdoors, and so I drew an outdoor scene for her.

I coloured her with Copic markers, and then I added clear Wink of Stella to her wings.  I used that wonderful sentiment by Neil Gaiman because it truly captures the essence of reading.

Remember to pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see more fabulous creations by the other Design Team members.  While there, why not join in the fun?  As always, there are some amazing prizes to be won.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you soon.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Bee with Heart Bundle (Girl) by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  Welcome to today's post.  Conie Fong has some truly darling new releases (nine of them) in her etsy shop.  My DT card features one of them.  This delightfully sweet bee is the girl version of Conie's Bee with Heart Bundle.  The release includes an adorable boy bee, along with two sentiments and a flower.  Plus, it's available in PNG and JPG formats.

Is she not the sweetest?  I coloured her with Copic markers.  I like to add some shimmer whenever an image has wings so I applied some clear Wink of Stella. The card has a white base but it's hard to see here.

Remember to visit Conie's etsy shop to see all the truly beautiful images.  In addition, Conie has a Facebook group where she hosts a monthly challenge.  If you win, you may receive some adorable images.

Mother and Baby Girl by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  My niece had a baby girl last week and so I made a baby card for her and her husband.   It's their first baby.  How exciting!

I chose the gorgeous Mother and Baby Girl image by Conie Fong.  This image is truly precious and endearing.

I coloured this beautiful image with Copic markers.  I decided to add some lace at the top but it's hard to see here.  It really does look pretty IRL.

Conie has some lovely images in her etsy shop.  And, she also has a Facebook group where you can enter her monthly challenges.  There are some adorable images to be won, if you win.

Well, that's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting, and have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Rose by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  I hope you are all well.  Two weeks ago, northern United States experienced a dangerous arctic blast.  I nearly fell out of my bed when I woke up one morning, checked my phone, and saw that the temperature was -20 degrees.  Yikes!  Luckily, the temperatures warmed up considerably.

This week's theme on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is:

LACE and/or FLOWERS

These are two of my favourite embellishments and so I included both on my card.  I used the gorgeous Rose image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.

I used Copic markers to colour this beauty.  The lace was originally white but I dyed it yellow with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.  The flowers are handmade.

If you would like to see more inspiration by the other Design Team members, please visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  While there, how about joining in the fun?  There are some wonderful prizes to be won.

Thank you for visiting.  Have a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Bella Benji Fairy Bundle by Conie Fong

Hello dear friends!  Welcome to my DT post today.  I used the darling Bella image from the Bella Benji Bundle by Conie Fong.  I just love these sweet little bears.  In fact, I love teddy bears of all kinds.  This bundle comes six images (Bella and Benji facing right and left, and two sentiments), and is one of six new releases.

I wanted to ground her, so I drew a leaf for her.  I coloured her and the leaf with Copics.  Then, I applied clear Wing of Stella to her wings for a lovely shimmer. Finally, I used chalk to create the clouds.

Conie has a Facebook group where you can enter her monthly challenges.  She has some adorable images for the winners.  So, why not join in the fun?

Thank you for visiting.  I appreciate it.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx
