Flamingo YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Hi friends! I cannot believe that April is almost gone. I wanted to post this card before next month. Conie Fong has a wonderful YouTube video whereby she teaches you how to draw this adorable flamingo. See here: Conie converted this image to JPG format so that you can see how truly fabulous and versatile this image is. Here is my Design Team card:

Frog YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  Conie Fong has some wonderful YouTube videos which teach you how to draw, step by step, some simple images.   How awesome is that?

This particular video by Conie shows you how to draw an adorable little frog sitting on a lily pad.  Conie converted this super cute image into a digital image so that the design team members can colour it.  This way you can see how truly sweet this little fellow is.  Here is my DT slimline card:

As always, I coloured the image with my Copic markers.  I found a free black and white clipart image of a lily pad, printed it out in three different sizes.  Then, I fussy cut four of them, and coloured them with Copic markers.

Conie has a Facebook group called Draw with Conie.  You can submit your colourings of these simple images in this group.

That's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting, and I hope to see you all soon again.  Hugs, Lori xx

Paint-A-Flower: Lotus by Altenew Stamps

Hello friends!  I was one of the winners on the Altenew Florescence Blog Hop and, along with my prize, I received a discount card with a stamp design to colour on the other side.  It featured the gorgeous Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Lotus Outline Stamp Set image.  The card has a shiny matte finish, so I wasn't sure which mediums to use.  I used Copic markers, Zig markers and chalk to colour this lovely image, and I am rather happy with the way it turned out.

I am going to send this card (along with 19 other cards that I just made) to an organization that distributes cards to seniors.  I hope they brighten their day a bit.

I am entering my card on the #AltenewChallenge.
