Lil Witches Halloween card 2 - Whimsy Stamps

Greetings friends!  I posted a Halloween card a few days ago and I am now posting a second card that I made with Whimsy Stamps pre-colored Quick Card Fronts called "Lil Witches".  This second card has the same design but, this time, I used another cute image and inked the edges of the frame with purple instead of aqua.  You can use these fabulous Quick Card Fronts as they are, or you can embellish them.

As before, I used a frame die and inked the edges with distress ink.  Next, I gently inked the edges with black ink to create a spattered effect.  The frame and the sentiment are matted on glitter paper.

That's all from me for this post.  Take care, Lori xx

Lil Witches Halloween card 1 - Whimsy Stamps

Greetings friends!  Halloween always evokes some special and cherished memories for me of when my kids were little and we went Trick-or-Treating.  They are adults now but that doesn't stop me from making a Halloween card for them. LOL

I decided to use an adorable pre-colored image by Whimsy Stamps called "Lil Witches" Quick Card Fronts.  There are quite a number of these fabulous quick card fronts that are available.  All you have to do is to embellish them, or just use them as they are.

I used a frame die and inked the edges with distress ink.  Then, I gently inked the sides with black ink to create a spattered effect.  I matted the frame and sentiment with black glitter paper.

That's all from me today.  Have a lovely weekend.  Lori xx

Retro Space Girl by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends.  I would like to preface this post by saying that, in case you haven't heard, our beloved co-owner of The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps, Veronica, tragically passed away on September 25, 2024.  Please see more details about this here.  We are so saddened by this news.

Another new challenge (#615) is starting today on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is:

SQUARES/CIRCLES

I made a card with this image some time ago using masculine colours.  I decided to make another card with this image called Retro Space Girl by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps using feminine colours.  I love this adorable image.  Here is my Design Team card:

This little cutie is coloured with Copic markers.  I added some enamel dots on the left side of the circle.

Balloon House YouTube video by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  Today's post features an adorable image by Conie Fong called Balloon House.  Conie has a YouTube channel where she teaches you how to draw this balloon house, along with some other super cute images.  Please see here.

Conie converted this image to JPG format for the Design Team members so that you can see how truly awesome and versatile this image is.  I coloured the image with Copic markers.  This is the second card that I made with this image.  On the first card, the balloons were opaque.  This time, I made the balloons transparent.  Here is my Design Team card:

I coloured the image with Copic markers, as usual.  Remember to check out Conie's YouTube videos here.  And, if you like these videos, please subscribe and leave a comment.

Conie has a Facebook group called Draw with Conie.  If you draw any of Conie's images, you can post them there.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope to see you soon.  Take care, Lori xx

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and welcome to today's post.  You all probably know by now how much I love mermaids.  My card showcases the darling Little Mermaid image by Conie Fong.  This is the third card that I created with this image.  Here is my Design Team card:

I coloured her with Copic markers, and I added a few bubbles on the water. I also added a row of tiny bling at the top and some tiny fish on the border.

Conie has a Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design where you will find some amazing inspiration by the other DT members and other crafters as well.

That's all from me today.  I wish you a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx
