Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong

 Hi friends, and welcome to my post today.  I am sharing my Design Team card showcasing the gorgeous Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong. This is the fifth card that I created using this truly beautiful image.  You can find her in Conie's etsy shop here. She is available facing right and left, and in PNG and JPG formats.


She is coloured with Copic markers.  I added some bubbles around her for some interest.  If you wish to see more wonderful inspiration by the other DT members, check out Conie's Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong - Card 3

 Hi friends!  Hope all is well at your end.  I am showcasing an adorable image by Conie Fong called Little Mermaid.  This is the third card that I've made using this sweet image.  You can find this image, along with another gorgeous mermaid, in Conie's etsy shop. Here is my Design Team card:  


I've coloured her with Copic markers and I stamped the coral at the bottom of the image. Them I added some gems along the sides of the frame. 

Conie has two Facebook groups.  One is called Conie Fong Art & Design group where you can see some beautiful inspiration by the other DT members and other crafters who enjoy colouring Conie's lovely images.  The other FB group is called Draw with Conie where she teached you, step by step, how to draw some fabulous simple images.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and welcome to today's post.  You all probably know by now how much I love mermaids.  My card showcases the darling Little Mermaid image by Conie Fong.  This is the third card that I created with this image.  Here is my Design Team card:



I coloured her with Copic markers, and I added a few bubbles on the water. I also added a row of tiny bling at the top and some tiny fish on the border.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong (card 2)

Hi friends, and welcome to today's post.  I am sharing a mermaid card which I made using the darling Little Mermaid image by Conie Fong which you can find in her etsy shop.  This is the second card that I made this sweet mermaid.  Here is my Design Team card.


I have used Copic markers to colour her, and I created a little underwater scene by drawing the coral and the bubbles. 

Conie Fong has a fabulous YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you how to draw a simple mermaid and other adorable simple images.  


Conie has two groups on Facebook.  One is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  You will find some wonderful inspiration by the other Design Team members as well as other crafters.  

Conie's other Facebook group is called Draw with Conie.  If you follow Conie's step by step tutorials and draw one of her images, you can post it on this group.

Iris Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings friends!  Well, today is the last day of MerMay.  That said, I just had to create another mermaid card.  I found this beauty in my drawer of uncoloured images, so I decided it was time to colour her.  She is Iris Mermaid, a greyscale image, by Ching-Chou Kuik.  Here is my slimline card. 


I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour her.  The beautiful background paper is by Whimsy Stamps.

Ivy Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings friends!  MerMay is ending on May 31 so I just had to create yet another mermaid card.  I used this beautiful image once before.  This beauty is Ivy Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik.

There is a group on Facebook called Paper Crafting for Everyone which is hosting a  just-for-fun MerMay challenge.  It is a private group but you should consider joining it because it contains so much amazing inspiration.  



I coloured this beautiful mermaid with Copic markers. I am unable to recall the maker of the bubbles die. The sentiment is computer generated.

Mermaid YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  I am sharing yet another mermaid card.  You can learn how to draw this cutie by following Conie Fong's step by step YouTube video tutorial called Draw With Conie.  Conie Fong also has quite a number of other simple images that she teaches you how to draw.  Here is my Design Team slimline card.


I coloured the image with Copic markers, and then I fussy cut it.  The lovely background paper is by Whimsy Stamps.  It's a lovely scene by itself, but I couldn't resist adding three tiny fish.

In addition to Conie's YouTube channel, she also has two groups on Facebook.  One is called Draw With Conie.  This is where you can share any images that you've drawn using Conie's directions.

The other Facebook group is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  There you will find some wonderful inspiration by the other Design Team members and other crafters who love using Conie's images.

Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and welcome to my post today.  This is the fourth card that I made using this gorgeous mermaid.  She is one of Conie Fong's recent releases.  This beauty is Conie Fong's Rosealea Mermaid.  

I almost never use digital paper but I decided to give it a go.  I used the PNG format of the image (which also is available in JPG format) and merged it onto the digi paper.  I colored Rosealea Mermaid with Copic markers.  Here is my DT card:

Flowers on the Beach by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and happy Monday!  As MerMay continues, here is a mermaid card that I created some time ago but never posted. As many of you probably know, I just love mermaids! This cutie is Flowers on the Beach by Conie Fong.   My DT card:



I coloured her with Copic markers and added quite a number of embellishments.  The seashells and tiny glass bottle (with fairy dust inside) are real, and the flowers are handmade.  I also included yellow netting.  Finally, I applied Glossy Accents around the image.

Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends.  Hope you are well.  As you probably know, I just love mermaids. And, since May is MerMay, I am sharing another DT inspirational card featuring one of Conie Fong's newest releases called Rosealea Mermaid.  I am obsessed with this gorgeous image and so this is my third card using her.  This beauty is available facing right and left. She is available in both PNG and JPG versions, along with two sentiments.

As always, I used my favourite medium to colour her (Copic markers), and  I drew some bubbles around her.  The lovely background paper is "Under the Sea" Slimline Paper Pack by Whimsy Stamps.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends and welcome to my first post this month. As many of us know, today is the official start of MerMay.  That means that artists all over the world create a work depicting a mermaid.  It's a month long fest.  

I adore mermaids and so I chose to feature a gorgeous mermaid by Conie Fong called Rosealea Mermaid.  Actually, this is my third DT card using this stunning image.  It is available in JPG and PNG formats.  Plus, it comes with the mermaid facing right and left, and two sentiments.



I used Copic markers to colour her, and added a seashell clipart image behind her.  Then, I drew some bubbles for added interest.  I also added some dimensional stickers on the top and botton of the frame

Rosealea Mermaid and Sentiments Bundle by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  I truly love mermaids so I was very excited when Conie Fong created the gorgeous Rosealea Mermaid image as a new release in her etsy shop.  This beautiful image is available in PNG and JPG formats, and comes with two sentiments.  Here is my DT card:

The Mermaid and the Treasure by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  Welcome to my DT post for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog's new challenge (#529).  This week's theme is ALTER IT.  I chose a gorgeous image called The Mermaid and the Treasure by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  In keeping with the theme, I used only the top portion of the full image.  



This lovely mermaid is coloured with Copic markers. I found the free porthole clipart image on nicepng and coloured it with Copics as well.

Mermaid Seahorse by Lemon Shortbread

Tender Blue by Ching-Chou Kuik

A very Happy New Year to you!  This is my first DT card this year which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's brand new 2020 monthly Facebook challenge. The theme is "New Year, New Beginnings or New Crafty Stash".  
What better way than to start off with a new birthday card, right?  This stunning image is "Tender Blue", found here: 
Items for "New Crafty Stash" include the flower die, the vine die, the gold button and coloured seashells.


As always, I used my usual mediums (Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils) to colour this lovely image.  I made the flower and the pinwheel bow. I cut the frame twice to make it longer than its original size and pieced it together.  And, I added cheesecloth under the seashells. 

In addition to a Facebook challenge,Ching-Chou also has a challenge blog.  There are some wonderful images that you can win if you enter either one.

Rainbow Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hi everybody!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  This is my last DT card for this month which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge.  The theme is "Happy Christmas/Happy Birthday".  I love mermaids and so I chose the gorgeous "Rainbow Mermaid", found here:

 I love to make shaped cards so I thought that this free seashell clipart would compliment that beautiful image perfectly.  I have coloured her with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I fussy cut the cute little fish (which was a challenge - LOL!)
