Dragon Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  I am sharing my Design Team card showcasing one of Conie Fong's adorable images called "Dragon Bouquet".  This is the second card that I have made with this cute and versatile image. 


I used Copic markers to colour this image, and I drew the background.  There is more wonderful inspiration by the other DT members, as well as other crafters who enjoy colouring Conie Fong's images, on her Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and welcome to today's post.  You all probably know by now how much I love mermaids.  My card showcases the darling Little Mermaid image by Conie Fong.  This is the third card that I created with this image.  Here is my Design Team card:



I coloured her with Copic markers, and I added a few bubbles on the water. I also added a row of tiny bling at the top and some tiny fish on the border.

The Fairy and the Flower by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  Hope you are well.  It's hard to believe that it's been a little over two months since I had a total knee replacement surgery.  Time sure flies!

The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog's theme this week is:

EMBOSSING 
(Wet or dry)

For my DT card, I used a lovely image called The Fairy and the Flower by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  I coloured her with Copic markers, and I applied clear Wink of Stella (by Zig) to her wings.  The flowers are handmade.  Here is my card:

Pixie by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Greetings friends!  A new challenge (#609) on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog starts today.  This week's theme is:

PUNCHES/DIES
(either or both)

I love fairies and so I chose an adorable image called Pixie by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  I coloured her with Copic markers, and I added some gems around the  frame and the bow.  Here is my DT card:

Butterfly Daisy Bundle by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  Hope you are well.  This summer has been rough for me because I had a total knee replacement on June 27.  The first two weeks were an absolute nightmare but I am now able to walk with a cane. 

This is the first card that I have made since my surgery.  This beautiful image is Butterfly Daisy by Conie Fong which I coloured with Copic markers.  I added some grass to the image, and clear Wink of Stella to her wings for a lovely sparkle.  Here is my Design Team card:

Iris Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings friends!  Well, today is the last day of MerMay.  That said, I just had to create another mermaid card.  I found this beauty in my drawer of uncoloured images, so I decided it was time to colour her.  She is Iris Mermaid, a greyscale image, by Ching-Chou Kuik.  Here is my slimline card. 


I used Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour her.  The beautiful background paper is by Whimsy Stamps.

Ivy Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings friends!  MerMay is ending on May 31 so I just had to create yet another mermaid card.  I used this beautiful image once before.  This beauty is Ivy Mermaid by Ching-Chou Kuik.

There is a group on Facebook called Paper Crafting for Everyone which is hosting a  just-for-fun MerMay challenge.  It is a private group but you should consider joining it because it contains so much amazing inspiration.  



I coloured this beautiful mermaid with Copic markers. I am unable to recall the maker of the bubbles die. The sentiment is computer generated.

Dolphin Hugs by Sweet November Stamps

Hi there, friends!  MerMay ends in a little over a week.  Sweet November Stamps is celebrating MerMay by hosting a SNS Challenge on Facebook.  You must use a Sweet November Stamps image, whether it's a digital image or a clear stamp.  There are an abundance of stunning mermaid images on SNS.  I chose the darling Dolphin Hugs.  Aren't they sweet?


I coloured the image with Copic markers and I added some cute little fish and coral.

Mermaid YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  I am sharing yet another mermaid card.  You can learn how to draw this cutie by following Conie Fong's step by step YouTube video tutorial called Draw With Conie.  Conie Fong also has quite a number of other simple images that she teaches you how to draw.  Here is my Design Team slimline card.


I coloured the image with Copic markers, and then I fussy cut it.  The lovely background paper is by Whimsy Stamps.  It's a lovely scene by itself, but I couldn't resist adding three tiny fish.

In addition to Conie's YouTube channel, she also has two groups on Facebook.  One is called Draw With Conie.  This is where you can share any images that you've drawn using Conie's directions.

The other Facebook group is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  There you will find some wonderful inspiration by the other Design Team members and other crafters who love using Conie's images. 

Lastly, Conie has an etsy shop (ConieFongArt) where you will find so many gorgeous images.

Merry Season by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello friends!  We are halfway through MerMay but there is still time for you to join in the fun on a group on Facebook called Paper Crafting for Everyone.  It is a private group but you can join it because there is lots of wonderful inspiration there.

I found this gorgeous images in my stash of uncoloured images and decided to colour it.  It is called Merry Season by Ching-Chou Kuik.     Here is my slimline card.


I made a card with this beautiful image once before and I used the same colours except for her outfit.  I coloured her with Copic markers.  I created a little scene at the bottom of the card with some lovely dies.

Wait for You by Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings friends!  I love creating mermaid cards.  Since it's MerMay, I decided to use this gorgeous greyscale image called Wait for You by Ching-Chou Kuik.  In fact, I had printed out two copies a while ago. I coloured both of them but I never made a card with the second one until now.  This image is simply magical.


I coloured her with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.

Pearl Tidepool and Seamoor by Sweet November Stamps

Greetings friends, and happy Monday!  Since this month is MerMay, Sweet November Stamps is celebrating this occasion by having a SNS May Challenge on Facebook.  All entries must use a Sweet November image (digital or clear).  SNS has so many gorgeous mermaid images.  I chose the beautiful Pearl Tidepool and Seamoor digital image (I did not use the little Seamoor image).


I coloured her with Copic markers and added the handmade flowers.  I inked the wave border and added a row of tiny crystal gems at the bottom of the border.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  As you probably know, May is MerMay month.  It's no secret that I adore mermaids and so I am showcasing Conie Fong's newest image in her etsy shop called Little Mermaid.  What a cutie!  Here is my Design Team card:


I coloured her with Copic markers, and then I fussy cut her.  The lovely background paper is from Heartfelt Creations "Under the Sea" paper pad.

Conie has a new YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you how to draw a simple mermaid, along with some other fabulous and simple images.  And, Conie has two Facebook groups.  One Facebook group is called Draw with Conie.  You can submit your drawings on that group.

Conie's second Facebook group is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  That groups has some amazing inspiration.

Gnome Couple Bundle by Conie Fong - Card 3

Hello friends!  I hope you had a nice weekend.  My DT card today is made with Conie Fong's super cute Gnome Couple Bundle.  This bundle comes with the couple, the boy gnome, and the girl gnome.  This is the third card that I have made with this sweet couple.  


You can learn to draw how to draw the boy gnome by following Conie Fong's fabulous YouTube videos.  There are also a number of other simple images that you can learn to draw by following Conie's step by step videos.  

In addition to her YouTube videos, Conie has two Facebook Groups called Conie Fong Art & Design Group and Draw with Conie.



I coloured the image with Copic markers.  The pretty background paper is by Heartfelt Creations (Window Scenes Collection paper pad).

Greetings my friends!  Hope you are all well.  The theme this week on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is:

PINK/PEARLS 

Since I love the colour pink and pearls, I decided to use both for my DT card.  The gorgeous image I chose is Make a Wish by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Gnome Couple Bundle by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  I am so excited because Conie Fong has three brand new and adorable images in her etsy shop called Gnome Couple Bundle.  The bundle includes gnome couple, boy gnome and girl gnome.  This sweet image would be perfect for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.  It would even be fabulous for a birthday card.  Here is my DT card: 


As usual, I coloured the image with my Copic markers.  I also added some little pearls on the corners of my card.

There's a Fairy in My Tea! by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

I coloured this adorable image with my trusty Copic markers.  I added a light coating of clear Wink of Stella to her wings, but it's hard to see on this photo.

Rosealea Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and welcome to my post today.  This is the fourth card that I made using this gorgeous mermaid.  She is one of Conie Fong's recent releases.  This beauty is Conie Fong's Rosealea Mermaid.  

I almost never use digital paper but I decided to give it a go.  I used the PNG format of the image (which also is available in JPG format) and merged it onto the digi paper.  I colored Rosealea Mermaid with Copic markers.  Here is my DT card:

Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom by Conie Fong

Hello dear friends, and welcome to today's post.  It's Fairy Day over on Conie Fong's Facebook group and the DTs have created some beautiful fairy cards.  I used the darling Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom image by Conie Fong.  Here is my DT card:


As always, I coloured this sweetie with Copic markers.  I applied clear Wink of Stella to her wings for a pretty shimmer, and I also added some 3-D stickers on the frame.  I generally gravitate toward bold/bright colours but there are times that a prefer softer colours, like the background on this card.
