Dragon Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  I am sharing my Design Team card showcasing one of Conie Fong's adorable images called "Dragon Bouquet".  This is the second card that I have made with this cute and versatile image.

I used Copic markers to colour this image, and I drew the background.  There is more wonderful inspiration by the other DT members, as well as other crafters who enjoy colouring Conie Fong's images, on her Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.

That's all from me for this post.  Have a happy day.  Lori xx

My Favorite Things 2022 Card Design Superstar Contest

Greetings!  I hope you had a happy weekend.  I came across this amazing 2022 Card Design Superstar contest hosted by My Favorite Things and I decided to enter it.  You can chose one of three categories.  I chose the Clean & Simple Genius Category.

I love dragons and so I used a delightful little dragon from the BB Magical Dragons stamp set by My Favorite Things.  The sentiment is part of the set as well.

The clouds were made with My Favorite Things Premium Stencil (Cloud Stencil ST-099)

I used a combination of Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour this adorable image.

That's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Cupcake Dragon by Conie Fong

Hey there, friends!  Today, I am sharing my DT inspiration which I made for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge.   This adorable little guy is Cupcake Dragon by Conie Fong.  I wanted him to enjoy his cupcake in peace, so I drew a calm scene around him.

As always, I used my trusty Copic markers and Polychromos pencils to colour the image and scene.

Conie's FB challenge runs until the end of this month.  So, why not join in the fun?  There are some truly darling images to be won.

Thank you for visiting.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Dragon Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hi there, friends!  Conie Fong's monthly Facebook challenge is going on right now.  I have always loved dragons and so I chose this cute "Dragon Bouquet" image by Conie Fong for my DT card.  It's available in both JPG and PNG formats.  Since I coloured her pink, that makes her a little girl dragon, right?  LOL

This cutie is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I enjoy creating backgrounds and so I drew this background.  Hope she likes it! I chalked the edges of the butterflies and added Liquid Pearls (Petal Pink) to their bodies.

I wish you a happy weekend.  Until next time, hugs, Lori xx

Hello lovely friends!  Here is another DT card that I made for Conie Fong's monthly Facebook challenge.  The challenge ends in 2 days but there is still time to enter.  This darling image is "Tori the Dragon - Raining Hearts", found here:
This is such a versatile image.

I used Copic markers and Polychromos to colour it.  The flower is handmade.  I cut the flourish twice and offset it on glitter paper for some dimension.  Well, that's all from me.  Thank you for visiting.  Have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx
