Vintage Seamstress by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  Time for another new challenge (#627) on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  This week, the theme is:

BUTTONS and BOWS
(Add at least one button AND/OR at least one bow)

For my Design Team card, I have chosen the fabulous Vintage Seamstress image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.

I used Copics to colour the image and added some really wonderful tape measure ribbon which I have had forever.  To see more lovely inspiration, please check out the cards that the other Design Team members created.  See here.

If you join our challenge, you may win some lovely images by TPS.

In addition to the blog, TPS also has a group on Facebook called The Paper Shelter Fan Club.

Well, that's all from me for this post.  Until next time, Lori xx

Vintage Tea Cups by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Greetings, dear friends!  It's time for The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog's new challenge (#603).  The theme this week is:

THREE TIMES ANYTHING

(three of the same embellishments, etc)

I love tea cups, and I have some truly gorgeous tea cups and saucers on display in my china closet and also on some of my shelves.  With that in mind, I just had to select a lovely image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps called Vintage Tea Cups.  Here is my Design Team card.

I used my trusty Copic markers to colour this lovely image.  I applied clear Wink of Stella (Zig) to the wings of the butterfly.  It's hard to see here but the wings have a pretty shimmer IRL.  The flowers are handmade and the centers are by EK Success.

If you'd like to see some more fabulous inspiration by the other Design Team members, see here.  And, while there, how about joining the challenge?  There are some beautiful images to be won.

There is also a group on Facebook called The Paper Shelter Fan Group which has more inspiration.

That's all from me today.  Take care, and have a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Poppy Fairy by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello friends!  Welcome to my post today.  This week's themes for the Design Team members of Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge are "Shabby Chic or Distressed or Vintage".
https://www.facebook.com/groups/chingchoukuikdigitalstamps/
These themes evoke a design style that embraces a worn look.  Words like lace, floral, soft, romantic, eclectic, casual and feminine come to mind.

This beautiful image is "Poppy Fairy" and can be found in Ching-Chou's etsy shop here:
I coloured this lovely image with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  The poppy is handmade.  A bit of lace is peeking out of the distressed patterned paper.  I also added red lace at the top of the card.  Her wings are gently covered with clear Wink of Stella.

Thank you for visiting.  I appreciate it very much.  Have a happy week.  Hugs, Lori xx

Hummingbirds by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hi there, crafty friends!  I hope you had a happy weekend.  This week's theme for the DT members for Ching-Chou's Facebook challenge is "Shabby Chic/Distressed".  See here for details:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/chingchoukuikdigitalstamps/
If you are interested, there is also a blog challenge.

I used the lovely "Hummingbirds" image by Ching-Chou Kuik.  You can find it here in her etsy shop:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/454161406/hummingbirds-digital-stamp-instant?ref=shop_home_active_141

This is the first time that I made a shabby/chic card and I really enjoyed making it.  I distressed the edges of the patterned paper at the top to achieve an old and weathered look. As always, I used a combination of Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils to colour this fabulous image.  The iris is handmade.  Have a nice week.  Until next time.  xx
