Briar Berry Spry Fairy by Digi Doodle Studios

Hello, lovely friends!  I am so happy that the weather is cooling down.  As Guest Designer for Digi Doodle Studios, I am sharing my newest card featuring the darling "Briar Berry Spry Fairy" by Digi Doodle Studios, found in Dina's etsy shop here:

https://digidoodlestudios.com/products/digi-doodles-briar-berry-spry-fairy-digi-stamp

As always, I coloured the image with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I wanted to create the illusion of movement so I added some swirling leaves which I coloured with Copics.

Digi Doodle Studios has a monthly blog challenge (which has gone live today) and a Facebook challenge.  We would love to see your creations.

That's all for today.  Thanks so much for visiting and I hope to see you again.  I wish you a happy weekend.  Hugs, Lori xx

Garden Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello there, friends.  I just love flowers!  That said, I am sharing my DT card showcasing the gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image by Conie Fong, found in her etsy shop here:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/608124609/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-conie?ref=shop_home_active_149

This image is not only beautiful but versatile as well and can be used for numerous occasions.  I have coloured this image before but I decided to use darker, bolder colours this time.

This is the inside of the card:

Copics and Polychromos were used to colour the image.  I cut a circle using the same background paper, embossed it and inked the edges and dots.  I applied Swarovski crystals to the bodies of the butterflies, and inked their wings so that they matched the flowers.

Conie's current Facebook challenge is still going on.  Why not join in the fun?  We'd love to see your creations. You may win some stunning images from Conie.

Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again.  Enjoy your day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Butterfly Daisy by Conie Fong

Hi peeps!  Happy Friday!  Conie Fong's monthly Facebook challenge is going on now.  The theme is "Always Anything Goes" with an option of "Monochromatic Colours".
I decided to go with monochromatic colours for my DT inspiration.

This beauty is Conie's "Butterfly Daisy", found here:
Purple and pink are my favourite colours so I went with purple.  I coloured her with Copics and Polychromos.  Wink of Stella (clear) was applied to her wings and the butterfly's wings.

I wish you a happy weekend, and I thank you for visiting.  Hugs, Lori xx

Serenity by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  I hope you are having a nice day.  This is my second card which I made, as a Design Team member for Conie Fong, for her monthly Facebook challenge.  The theme is "Always Anything Goes" with an option of "Anything but a Square".  That said, I chose the latter.  My shaped card:

This lovely image is Conie's "Serenity", found here:
I used Copics to colour this beautiful image and Polychromos pencils to shade the tiny areas of the flowers.  I added tiny pearls to the butterflies and Wink of Stella (clear) to their wings.  Also, I fussy cut the ends of her hair.   If you join in the fun, you may win some wonderful prizes from Conie's etsy shop and a Guest Designer position.  How awesome is that?
