Eloise by Digi Doodle Studios Digi Stamps

Hello, my friends!  Today, I am showcasing the darling Eloise by Digi Doodle Studios.  This cutie is is part of a new release by DDS.  Isn't she adorable?

Digi Doodle Studios has both a monthly blog challenge and a Facebook challenge.  I have been a Guest Designer for DDS since December 2020; however, I am starting this month as a full-fledged Design Team member.   So exciting!  The theme this month is 3 or More Layers.  I included four layers on my card:  the patterned paper, the layer with the embossing folder and the two frames.

I drew a simple background for her, and coloured her with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.

Thank you for visiting.  It's very appreciated.  I hope to see you all soon.  Hugs, Lori xx

Relaxing Bubbles by House Mouse Designs

Hello everybody!  I needed a masculine birthday card and so I found a stamped image in a drawer where I keep coloured and stamped images.  I thought it would be perfect.

This cute image is "Relaxing Bubbles" by House Mouse Designs and I believe it is a rubber mounted stamp. This adorable image reminded me of how much I enjoy taking a bath every now and then, especially in the fall and winter months.

When I moved here three years ago, I left a few boxes unpacked and it might be in one of those boxes.  I tried to find it on the House Mouse store, without success.  It may have been discontinued.  Sorry about that.

As always, I used my Copic markers to colour this adorable image.

I wish my American friends a happy July 4th.  Stay safe, enjoy your weekend, and hope to see you again.  Hugs, Lori xx

Garden Bouquet by Conie Fong

Hello there, friends.  I just love flowers!  That said, I am sharing my DT card showcasing the gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image by Conie Fong, found in her etsy shop here:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/608124609/digital-stamp-digi-stamp-digistamp-conie?ref=shop_home_active_149

This image is not only beautiful but versatile as well and can be used for numerous occasions.  I have coloured this image before but I decided to use darker, bolder colours this time.

This is the inside of the card:

Copics and Polychromos were used to colour the image.  I cut a circle using the same background paper, embossed it and inked the edges and dots.  I applied Swarovski crystals to the bodies of the butterflies, and inked their wings so that they matched the flowers.

Conie's current Facebook challenge is still going on.  Why not join in the fun?  We'd love to see your creations. You may win some stunning images from Conie.

Thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again.  Enjoy your day.  Hugs, Lori xx

The sentiment is computer generated and is raised with 3-D foam.  Lastly, I placed Swarovski crystals in the center of all the flowers.

Ching-Chou also has a challenge blog.  Check it out here:

Good morning/afternoon to you!  It's hard to believe that it's July.  The weather has been lovely for the most part.  That always makes me happy.

The theme for Ching-Chou Kuik's Facebook challenge this month is "Make Your Own Background".  Check it out:
I used the beautiful "Snow Drop" image, found here:

Here is my DT inspirational card:

Look at that glorious head of hair!  I used an embossing folder to create the background.  Then, I added yellow and orange Gelatos to it.  I made my own template for the snowdrops.  Now, I always enjoy making my own flowers but I will never again make another snowdrop flower.  What a hassle - LOL!  The image is coloured with Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils.  I wish you a lovely day!  xx
