Mushroom Snail YouTube Video Tutorial by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  I made this card months ago and never got around to posting it.  I already posted a card featuring the same image but with a brown mushroom.  This time, I coloured the mushroom red.  

You can learn how to draw this super sweet image by following Conie Fong's YouTube video tutorial, along with other truly adorable simple images.  Conie converted this image into JPEG format for the Design Team members to colour so that you can see how versatile and adorable this image is.  I used Copic markers to colour it.  The corners are by QuicKutz dies.

If you decide to draw this image yourself, you can then post it on Conie's Facebook group called Draw with Conie.

Conie also has another Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  You will find some lovely inspiration there by the other Design Team members, and other crafters who love Conie's images.

Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom by Conie Fong

Hello dear friends, and welcome to today's post.  It's Fairy Day over on Conie Fong's Facebook group and the DTs have created some beautiful fairy cards.  I used the darling Sitting Pretty on a Mushroom image by Conie Fong.  Here is my DT card:

As always, I coloured this sweetie with Copic markers.  I applied clear Wink of Stella to her wings for a pretty shimmer, and I also added some 3-D stickers on the frame.  I generally gravitate toward bold/bright colours but there are times that a prefer softer colours, like the background on this card.

Sitting Pretty on Mushroom by Conie Fong

Hi everyone!  I am showcasing my second DT card this month which I created for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge.  There's still time to join the fun but do hurry because it ends on Friday.

I used Copic markers and Polychromos to colour this darling image.  The beautiful flowers are from I Am Roses.

The window die cut was not wide enough for the image, so I cut it in half and covered the gap at the top with flowers.  I applied clear Wink of Stella" to her wings.
