Flowers on the Beach by Conie Fong

Hello friends, and happy Monday!  As MerMay continues, here is a mermaid card that I created some time ago but never posted. As many of you probably know, I just love mermaids! This cutie is Flowers on the Beach by Conie Fong.   My DT card:

I coloured her with Copic markers and added quite a number of embellishments.  The seashells and tiny glass bottle (with fairy dust inside) are real, and the flowers are handmade.  I also included yellow netting.  Finally, I applied Glossy Accents around the image.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope to see you all again soon.  Have a happy day, Lori xx

Painter Girl by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello, my friends!  This is my DT inspirational card for the new challenge (Theme: Anything Goes) which commences today on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog:
Come and see what the talented Design Team has created.  And, if you join in the fun, you may win some beautiful images.

This really cute image is "Painter Girl", found here:

I found the paint brushes on a free clip art site.  I fussy cut them, and coloured them and the image with Copic markers. Then, I placed 3-D foam under the paint brushes for dimension.  It's hard to see but I applied Glossy Accents to the paint on the artist palette and the paint on the brush that the girl is holding.  The paint splatters were made with a punch.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I always enjoy reading your lovely comments.  I wish you a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx
