Braids in My Hair by Conie Fong

Hi there friends!  I am such a fan of Conie Fong's  beautiful images.  That said, I am sharing my Design Team card which showcases Braids in My Hair by Conie Fong.  This is the third card that I made using this gorgeous image.

I colored this lovely image with Copic markers and some FC Polychromos pencils.  Since it's fall where I live, I used fall colours this time.  Then, I chalked some areas of the slimline frame, and I added some handmade flowers.

Conie has a Facebook group called Conie Fong Art & Design Group where you can find some amazing inspiration by the other Design Team members as well as other crafters.  She also has a fabulous YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you, step by step, how to draw simple images.

Thank you for stopping by, and hope to see you again soon.  Lori xx

Gnome Gift by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  Welcome to my post today.  This is my first Design Team inspiration this month for Conie Fong's Facebook group.  This sweet little guy is Gnome Gift by Conie Fong.  He's available in PNG and JPG formats, along with some other adorable images.  This is the third card that I've made with this image because it's so cute and versatile.

I used Copics and Polychromos to colour him, and I drew a simple background.  Then I added some tiny snowflakes.

If you have some time, why not pop over to Conie's FB group and join in the fun?  You may win some darling images by Conie Fong.

Thank you for visiting, and hope to see you soon.  Hugs, Lori xx

About Christmas No. 1 by Mirtillamente Digital Stamps

Hello  dear friends.  I hope you are making progress on your Christmas shopping.  Last month, I won a Guest Designer spot for this month on the Rabisco Challenge Blog.  I was given a choice of three images and I chose "About Christmas No. 1 by Mirtillamente Digital Stamps".  Here is my card:

There are six images included with this digital stamp and I selected three of them.  They are coloured with Copic markers and FB Polychromos pencils.  I used the fabulous fabulous "Slimline Connected Rectangles" die by Whimsy Stamps.  I used glittered paper to cut it out.  I love this die!  The sentiment is computer generated.

That's all from me today.  Thanks so much for visiting.  I wish you a happy weekend.  Hugs, Lori xx

Rain Shield by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  Welcome to my Design Team post today.  This is my card which I made for the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog's new challenge which starts today.  This adorable image is "Rain Shield" by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps.

I decided to draw a scene for this little lady.  I applied Glossy Accents to the puddle and raindrops for a more realistic look.  As always, the image is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.

Thank you for stopping by.  I truly appreciate it.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Sunflower in a Pot by Conie Fong

Hi peeps!  This is my second DT inspirational card this month which I made for Conie Fong's current Facebook challenge.  There is still time to join in the fun.

I wanted to do something a bit different so I found a free light bulb clipart image on the Internet and inserted Conie's beautiful image inside the light bulb.  I like this idea...LOL  I coloured the image with Copics and Polychromos.

That's all for today.  Thank you for visiting, and hope to see you again.  In the interim, I wish you a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Martini Glass Birthday Card

Hi friends!  Here is something different from me.  I got this freebie martini glass digital stamp in 2011 from Andy Bauer.  Unfortunately, it is no longer available.  I decided to add some free candle and clipart images to the glass, and coloured it all with Copic markers.  And, voila!  A birthday card.  Crazy, right?

I added some glitter to the flame and stamped some tiny fireworks.  I am going to send this card to my niece's husband.  Hope he likes it.  Thank you for visiting.  Until next time.  Hugs, Lori xx
