Polka Dot Raincoat by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

 Hello friends!  A new challenge starts today on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.  This is my Design Team card showcasing the charming "Polka Dot Raincoat" image by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps.


I drew the background.  I applied Glossy Accents on the puddle, the grass and on the raindrops.  The image is coloured with Copics and Polychromos. The wonderful sentiment is by Vivian Greene and is computer generated.

Christmas Wreath Mouse by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

I used Copics to colour this adorable image.  The letters "J" and "Y" were cut out with my Cricut Expression (Base Camp cartridge).  I really like the way this clean and simple card turned out.

Fairy with Bunny by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

 Hello friends!  How are you today?  It's no secret that I love fairies so I chose the beautiful "Fairy with Bunny" image by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps as my DT inspiration for the new Lemon Shortbread Challenge which starts today.

 As always, I used my trusty Copic markers and Polychromos pencils to colour this lovely image.  The flowers are handmade and the petals are raised with 3-D foam.

Jingle Bells Girl by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello again and Happy December!  This is my second post today.  I am showcasing my DT inspiration using the super cute "Jingle Bells Girl" by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps, found here:

She is so adorable!  I've coloured her with Copics and Polychromos.  I added Swarvovski crystals for some lovely sparkle and some bells. I also added white flocking powder on the trim of her dress, hat and boots.

Flapper Twirl by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  A new challenge started yesterday on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.  
For my DT inspirational card, I chose the gorgeous "Flapper Twirl" image, found here:



As we all know, flappers emerged in the U.S. in the 1920's.  They were known for their unconventional behaviour and style, and were a sign of changing times.  These ladies sure had a lot of style!

This beautiful image was coloured with Copics and Polychromos.  I made the art deco frame with a free clip art image from the Internet and added pieces of the "Oriental Frame and Motifs" dies at the top.  The gray flower is handmade, as is the hat pin.

Butterfly Fairy Curtsy by Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps

Hello, dear friends!  There's a new challenge starting today on the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog.  
The theme is "Anything Goes".  Here is my DT inspiration:


Isn't she lovely?  The image is "Butterfly Fairy Curtsy", found in Vera's esty shop here:

This sweet fairy is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I found the free scrabble tiles on the Internet.  I printed the letters that I needed and fussy cut them.  A bit of a challenge because they are so tiny...LOL.  Then, I coloured them and raised them with 3-D foam.

Gardening for the Day by Lemon Shortbread Stamps

Hi!  It's time for Lemon Shortbread's brand new blog challenge.  I chose this wonderful image ("Gardening for the Day") because it reminds me of the days when I used to do some gardening. You can find this lovely image in Vera's etsy shop here:

Bouquet for You Fairy by Lemon Shortbread

She is so cute!  Wink of Stella (clear) was applied to her wings.  The fence behind her was drawn by me.  I wanted to re-create a bouquet so I made a cone for my handmade flowers.  As always, I used Copics and Polychromos to colour the image.

Rainy Days Girl with Umbrella by Lemon Shortbread

Hi!  A brand new challenge starts today at the Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog (the theme is always "Anything Goes").  
The darling image that I used is "Rainy Days Girl with Umbrella", found here:


Isn't she darling?  I used mostly Copic markers to colour the image.  The flowers and hatpin are handmade.  I used 3-D pop dots under the umbrella for added dimension, and I applied Mod Podge "Dimensional Magic" on the raindrops and puddles so that they appear realistic.  Thank you for visiting.  Hope to see you soon.  Stay safe.  Hugs, Lori xx

Moon Maiden by Lemon Shortbread
