Mad About Shoes by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog's new challenge starts today.  It's Challenge #595 and the theme this week is:

A BIT OF A GIGGLE

This theme includes something humorous or fun.  I chose the latter because I have always found that buying shoes is definitely loads of fun.  When I was younger and working, my favourite type of shoe were stilettos.  I had them in all different colours imaginable.  And, let's not forget about sandals, sneakers, flats and boots.  I actually had a dedicated room for all my shoes.  

When I saw this image called Mad About Shoes by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps, I had to use it.  Here is my design team card:

I used Copic markers and FB Polychromos pencils to colour this fabulous image.  I remember seeing a sign many years ago in one of the shoe stores with the sentiment on this card so I decided to use it.

Little Mermaid by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  As you probably know, May is MerMay month.  It's no secret that I adore mermaids and so I am showcasing Conie Fong's newest image in her etsy shop called Little Mermaid.  What a cutie!  Here is my Design Team card:

I coloured her with Copic markers, and then I fussy cut her.  The lovely background paper is from Heartfelt Creations "Under the Sea" paper pad.

Conie has a new YouTube channel called Draw with Conie where she teaches you how to draw a simple mermaid, along with some other fabulous and simple images.  And, Conie has two Facebook groups.  One Facebook group is called Draw with Conie.  You can submit your drawings on that group.

Conie's second Facebook group is called Conie Fong Art & Design Group.  That groups has some amazing inspiration.

Pastry Chef by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  Another week and another challenge on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog (#593).  This week's theme is:

YUMMY DELIGHTS

I definitely have a sweet tooth!  I love all kinds of desserts and drinks.

I chose the adorable Pastry Chef image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps for my Design Team card.

Look at all those delicious treats!  Now I want to go out and buy something yummy.  LOL   I coloured this fabulous image with Copic markers.

Mushroom Snail YouTube Video by Conie Fong

Greetings, friends!  My DT card today features an adorable image, Mushroom Snail, which you can learn to draw by following Conie Fong's wonderful step by step tutorial on Draw with Conie YouTube video.  There are also other very sweet images that you can learn to draw on her YouTube channel.  Check it out here.

Conie converted this image into JPEG format for the DT members to colour so you can see how versatile and darling this image is.  I used Copic markers to colour the image.  The flower is handmade and also coloured with Copics.

If you get a chance to draw this image, you can then post it on Conie's Facebook group called Draw with Conie.

Kitty Acrobatics by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello friends!  A new challenge (#591) begins today on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is:

NATIONAL HUG YOUR DOG DAY  (PETS) 

This theme includes any project that features a pet.  As you all probably know, I love kitties so I chose the darling Kitty Acrobatics image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps for my Design Team card.

I drew the background and coloured the image with my trusty Copic markers.  I also added some enamel dots at the top of the card.

The Paper Shelter has a Facebook group called The Paper Shelter Fan Group where you will find some fabulous by both design teams and other crafters.

Cat Family Bundle by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  Conie Fong has created an adorable feline family called Cat Family for her etsy shop.  It comes as a bundle, and you get the cat family with and without the heart.  I have already created two cards with this sweet family:  one without the heart and one with the heart.  Today, I am sharing another card without the heart.  Here is my Design Team slimline card:

Bird on a Branch Freebie by Blessed Crafters

Greetings friends!  Today's card showcases a gorgeous free image to members of Blessed Crafters which is a private group on Facebook.  There is a challenge every month where you can win the month's featured set.  You may enter any type of craft using either a Blessed Crafters freebie or using anything that follows the photo theme posted. 

I chose this beautiful bird on a branch for my card which I coloured with Copic markers.  The flower is handmade and also coloured with Copics.
