I decided to draw a scene for this little lady.  I applied Glossy Accents to the puddle and raindrops for a more realistic look.  As always, the image is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.

Thank you for stopping by.  I truly appreciate it.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Hello lovely friends!  Is it really December already?  Time flies too fast.  We've already had some snow and it's been so cold here.  When I got up this morning it was 16 degrees Fahrenheit.

A new challenge has started on December 1 on the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog.  The theme is Christmas/Winter.  There is also a DDS monthly Facebook challenge.  We would love to see your creations.

The image I chose is the adorable "Patches Christmas Border Collie Puppyby Digi Doodle Studios.

The Paper Shelter 11th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Good morning, lovely crafters! Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 11th Birthday on December 8th.  This will be a two week challenge, with both Design Teams taking part.

The theme for this special challenge is:  CELEBRATIONS

For my card, I used the darling "Shopping Girl" image.  I wanted to create something different so I found this wonderful free alarm clock image from PNG Logos which I thought would compliment the image perfectly.

I used a combination of Copic markers and Polychromos pencils to colour this adorable image.  I cut the sentiment twice and offset it for added dimension and interest.

If you have arrived here from Julie R's blog, then you are heading in the right direction.  If not, then you will want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog because you do not want to miss out on this one.

As I mentioned, both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter.  Moreover, each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

From here, you will need to hop over to Sammy Jean's blog.  Do not forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store.

Good luck, and I hope you have enjoyed the hop so far.  I wish you a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Fairy Christmas Eve by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  Welcome to my DT post for the new challenge on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  Our theme this week is " A Christmas Card".

I chose the gorgeous "Fairy Christmas Eve" image.  As you probably know by now, I just adore fairies.

What a glorious image!  I coloured it with Copics and Polychromos.  I decided to use non traditional Christmas colours.  I inked around the edges of the image to create a warm glow.  I used glittered paper for the icicle borders.

We would love for you to join in the fun.  You can check out the other lovely creations by the other Design Team members. And, remember that there are some amazing prizes up for grabs.

Thank you for taking time to visit.  I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving, and here's hoping that whatever you do today, brings you happiness from morning until night.  Hugs, Lori xx

Christmas Carole by Conie Fong

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my DT post today.  I made this card for Conie Fong's monthly Facebook challenge.  If you join in the fun, you may win some gorgeous images from Conie.

This beauty is "Christmas Carole" by Conie Fong.  I coloured her with my trusty Copic markers.

I used part of Spellbinders "Grand Vaulted Cabinet" dies for the frame around the image.  I have quite a few Martha Stewart Around the Page punch sets, and I find that they work rather well on slimline cards.  Granted, you can only get three sides punched out but I still think they are fabulous.  And, I get to use some of my old punches...LOL.

Thank you for stopping by; I truly appreciate it.  I wish you a happy day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Panda in a Mug by Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps

Hi dear friends!  Happy Saturday.  There is a 2021 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop going on now.  It ends on Friday, November 19.  I love coffee and I drink two big mugs every morning.

I made this card using the adorable "Panda in a Cup" image by Sasayaki Glitter but, unfortunately, their etsy shop has no items listed.  It is an old image so perhaps that is why.

The image is coloured with Copic markers.  The Coffee Love Frame is an SVG file which I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The image iscut and matted using Spellbinders "Standard Circles Large" dies.   I made the pinwheel bow and the flowers are from I Am Roses.

Thank you for stopping by.  I wish you a happy weekend.  Hugs, Lori xx
