Cute Girls Coffee by Scrappy Boy Stamps

Hello friends!  I decided to partake in Scrappy Boy Stamps' Facebook challenge.  To enter this particular challenge, one must use a non-holiday image by Scrappy Boy Stamps and turn it into a holiday project.  I chose the adorable Cute Girls Coffee image for my entry. This adorable image comes in two versions:  a girl with tea and one with a coffee cup.

Well, that's all from me today.  Thank you for stopping by.  Hugs, Lori xx

Gnome Gift by Conie Fong

Hello friends!  Welcome to my post today.  This is my first Design Team inspiration this month for Conie Fong's Facebook group.  This sweet little guy is Gnome Gift by Conie Fong.  He's available in PNG and JPG formats, along with some other adorable images.  This is the third card that I've made with this image because it's so cute and versatile.

I used Copics and Polychromos to colour him, and I drew a simple background.  Then I added some tiny snowflakes.

If you have some time, why not pop over to Conie's FB group and join in the fun?  You may win some darling images by Conie Fong.

Thank you for visiting, and hope to see you soon.  Hugs, Lori xx

Eloise by Digi Doodle Studios Digi Stamps

Hello, my friends!  Today, I am showcasing the darling Eloise by Digi Doodle Studios.  This cutie is is part of a new release by DDS.  Isn't she adorable?

Digi Doodle Studios has both a monthly blog challenge and a Facebook challenge.  I have been a Guest Designer for DDS since December 2020; however, I am starting this month as a full-fledged Design Team member.   So exciting!  The theme this month is 3 or More Layers.  I included four layers on my card:  the patterned paper, the layer with the embossing folder and the two frames.

I drew a simple background for her, and coloured her with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.

Thank you for visiting.  It's very appreciated.  I hope to see you all soon.  Hugs, Lori xx

Glittery and Sparkling by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hello, dear friends, and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog (#519) which starts today.  The theme this week is GOING DIGITAL.  How easy is that!  For my card, I chose the gorgeous Glittery and Sparkling image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  I adore this image!

This beauty is coloured to Copics and polychromos.  The lovely rainbow is a free clipart image, which I thought complimented the image beautifully.  I stamped some sparkles around the rainbow for some added interest because, to me, it looked too bare without them.

Remember to stop by The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see some amazing inspiration by the other Design Team members.  And, if you join in the fun, you may win some really fabulous images.

Thank you very much for visiting.  I really appreciate it.  Take good care of yourselves.  Hugs, Lori xx

Gnome with Heart Balloon by Conie Fong

Hello peeps!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Every time I see a gnome, I smile.  I especially love Conie Fong's adorable gnomes.  That said, I am featuring Conie's "Gnome with Heart Balloon".  What a cutie!  This little guy comes with 8 other images.  I decided to turn the balloon into a mylar balloon.  Not too bad, right?  LOL

My DT inspirational card is for Conie Fong's June/July Facebook challenge.  Why not join in the fun?  You may win some lovely images from Conie.

As always, I used my trusty Copics and Polychromos to colour this cute image.

Well, that's all from me today.  Thank you for visiting.  I sincerely appreciate it.  Hugs, Lori xx

Pixie by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hey there, friends!  Summer began in my neck of the woods yesterday.  I have to say that summer is my least favourite season.  Too hot and humid, and way too many bugs.  However, I do love that the days are longer.

Challenge #517 starts today on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is THINGS WITH WINGS.  What a versatile theme, right?  I chose the darling Pixie image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.  She is so very sweet!

This card is smaller than the standard slimline cards.  It measures 3.5" x 6.25.  I followed an awesome video tutorial by Karen Aicken.  Her video shows you how to use 6" x 6" papers to create mini slimline cards.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FPXyyvWzig

Here is a side view:

This cutie is coloured with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  I applied Liquid Pearls (Petal Pink) to the butterflies' bodies, and Wink of Stella to the fairy's wings.

If you would like to see more inspiration by the other Design Team members, see here.  And, if you join in the fun, you may win some beautiful images.

Thank you for visiting.  It always brightens my day.  Hugs, Lori xx
